Fortnite gamer who livestreamed alleged assault has prior violence convictions
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-12-13/fortnite-gamer-luke-munday-court-livestream-assault/10613688 Colour me not surprised that this guys got priors ... and yet some people were defending him....insanity ....Pattern of behaviour and not just him nor exclusive to Fortnite ....I've been taking a break from Destiny 2 one of the reasons is as a female player I'm sick of dealing with such nasty mainly males online and having my avatar attacked because it's female ...anyone who says it's not happening is like the three monkeys hear no evil say no evil see no evil ...that's not my experience, been way too toxic for me lately ....I am not referring to our clan but there is rampant player abuse (griefing, cheating, and the likes) from other players and teams...and I simply choose not to participate at this time as I find it very uncomfortable, not fun nor funny, nor remotely enjoyable an atmosphere on Destiny 2 ...hoping that will change but won't hold my breath....I'd like to ask Bungie directly what is being done to end this sort of female harrassment ingame ?? I posted this in our clans page but I would like to hear from Bungie as I've seen nothing that addresses this current issue within their player base

1 답변Fortnite incident aside, what are you saying is the issues with Destiny that specifically supports your claims that females are being harassed? Please explain this? Anyone can have a female avatar or character. People cheat and say dumb things in a party chat or game chat. For anything you feel uncomfortable with, mute and block the player. It is very easy to be left alone in Destiny. Now it is my opinion that we should respect all players but we should also use common sense and not associate one game issues with another. Fortnite is not Destiny, nor is the playerbase exactly the same. Destiny has specific player issues and they can be reported. I don't like how you are presenting this information, it almost reads like you are accusing Destiny of not being accountable for player issues like you referenced. I believe if there were issues like that, these forums would be flooded with posts. While I don't defend Destiny for many things, I cannot think that they would allow any harassment of any player for any reason go unchecked.

The situation was blown out of proportion HER words, and she played her part in escalating the situation. If your feelings are so fragile that you can’t handle some idiots saying get back into the kitchen, or getting t bagged in crucible, it’s crucible what do you expect it happens to everyone. Then just play in the safe space of your clan and stop trying to push you victim agenda

Forced segregation of male and female players. While they are at it, put any males playing as females and vis versa in their own server too. There, problem solved. What, that's sexist? Well how else would they do anything? "Mommy, he called me a name!" Waa, waa, waa. The real sexist thing here is a female abusing the shit out of a forum to cry about someone hurting her feelings. Typical feel bad for me post. "I'm a girl, and guys pick on me." Good god. Are they grabbing you? No. Are they -blam!- you? No. Are they forcing you offline because you are a girl? No. Then there is nothing wrong here. My girl is awesome, and sees guys eyeing her and such. She gets a kick out of it, proves she is worth looking at. You on the other hand... if you are this much of a feminaz, the only one you are going to find for a companion is a dog or turn gay. Cause no guy will want to put up with that attitude. TLDR: you are stupid, bias, and abusing the female gender inequality debate. There is a mute button, a block button, and a leave button. There is also a thing called "ignoring people" and "suck it up." Make use of them.

I'm gonna preface with saying I'm a woman irl. Y'all probably don't realize you do it but there is a helluva lot of casual hostile gendered language thrown around not just here on these forums, but ingame and everywhere. People trying to insult others by calling them p*ssies and stuff. That's just one example, a lot of other words are worse, lol. The insinuation is that 'being a woman, or having feminine traits, is bad.' Which sucks. And you reading this probably don't even actually think those things. But when you use that language you're perpetuating that subtle underculture of hating women. And the crappy thing is that the dudes that actually do hate women will hear y'all say that stuff and think you're on his side, and because y'all just validated his behaviour he continues on with his bull. The language thing is one problem in a really, really big pile of problems...but it's that same kind of casual unthinking hatred that gets thrown around in so many contexts that just wears on women. We hear it every day, even from dudes that are our friends and family, and it sucks. I'm not saying any of this bc I think bungie, specifically, has a huge sexist problem on their hands, just that however misplaced, I know where OP is coming from and I can understand the frustration. I just don't go on voice anymore in any online game. Not because it's common to hear 'HEH UR A GIRL???' the first time you speak or some 2005 XBL nonsense like that. But because if someone gets tilted in my direction in a setting where I have somehow inadvertently revealed my irl gender, it almost always devolves into invitations to use your mouth for something other than speaking, or even worse, -blam!- threats or something. Thankfully, D2 isn't a game where you're forced to communicate with randos, lol. But honestly...those of you who game with female friends on a regular basis...ask 'em how comfortable they would be talking in voice in an online game and I am pretty confident they'll have a story or two to tell. And that in itself is pretty telling, imo.

2 답변작성자: JHarv 12/16/2018 8:36:06 PMIt's just people hating on people. It happens everywhere. Do you not remember being in grade school? If you're skinny, you get picked on. If you're fat, you get picked on. If you have buckteeth, you get picked on. If you're slow, you get picked on. If you suck at a game, you get picked on. It doesn't matter. People will always find a reason to be bullies, which is why it's so important to grow a spine and not let things bother you. Welcome to being a living creature, where everyone else is trying to pull you down on their own climb to the top, whatever that happens to entail. Just be thankful we don't have it the same way 99.99% of other living creatures do, which is being killed / eaten / left for dead if you aren't the strongest in the pack.
