I'm to the point where I always run Well of Radians on my Warlock and Sunbreaker on my Titan.
I'd recommend that Hunters stop using Blade Barrage, and go with Nightstalker Tether.
Edit: If you're on PS4 and have Wavesplitter....its an awesome weapon against the Gofannon Forge boss.

I just got that thing yesterday, how is it in the second forge? Is it Sexy good?

Its GOOD. The arena is open enough that you don't really need a shotgun like in the first forge. Plus the boss---once you get its health down to about 1/3---starts spam-teleporting you around the map. Wavesplitter gives you a second weapon that has a lot of range, and a lot of punch to do damage to the boss. So I emptied my Hammerhead into it from a Well of Radiance. Then it started the teleport spam, then I pulled out Wavesplitter and continued to pour on the damage.

How do u get the audacity to tell hunters to stop using blade barrage. It's a fact that Melting point blade barrage chaos reach is the best loadout. Obviously everything can work, but to reccomend someone use an inferior super..... yikes

This thread is about people who are trying to clear the forges with RANDOMS....not with a fireteam of their best friends where you can carefully coordinate loadouts. 3. The reason why the OP is THANKING Well of Radiance Warlocks is because he has (correctly) figured out that the most important thing is to BUFF the damage of the whole team. If you're using Blade Barrage....you do a one time burst of damage...and that's it. It won't be enough to kill the boss, and you won't get it back before the fight's over. When someone drops a Well of Radiance, a Tether, or induces Melting Point....they are buffing the damage done by EVERYONE. Pluse the Tether will suppress the fire of any nearby adds....improving team survivability. So you are alive longer, doing damage, rather than dying and having to respawn. 4. So yes....if you're part of a communicating fireteam...anything can work. But if you're playing with randoms that you can't communicate with....TEAM BUFFS.

I only lfg'd day one for my first clear and once when I unlocked gofannon since I was one of the first to unlock. Nobody is saying well is bad. Ur telling hunters not to use blade barrage. The 2nd best dps super in the game. No way ur right about ur recommendations

작성자: TheArtist 12/11/2018 7:55:37 PMThe proof of the pudding is in the eating. The fact is that----when working with the typical randoms----you will be more successful with Tether than with Blade Barrage. Because the fight is about SUSTAINED damage....not a one-time damage burst. YMMV.

You're also assuming your rando's have heavy. And I'm assuming these randoms are the same ppl that get on the forums complaining about amo economy when they dont understand the economy is based around armor perks. I'd put more faith in someone having a super up over them having heavy and enough to warrant not going a dps super. Look my point is there is a best loadout. That is inarguable. There are other options.

But that doesn't mean they are equally effective or equally simple. If you focus on damage buffs, you basically IDIOT-PROOF your approach...and you simplify your damage problems. I never said what you are talking about "can't" work. I'm saying its LESS reliable, and more difficult to coordinate when dealing with randoms. Dropping a Well of Radiance is a big sign to everyone saying "Stand here and shoot". Dropping a tether is a similar sign that says, "Shoot here now". Which does WONDERS to reduce the "Headless Chicken" factor.

Because you dont' need a shotgun for the first two waves of that fight....and if you're using anything other than WoTW, you'll exhaust your heavy before you kill the boss. So the time I cleared the Gofannon Forge, I ran out of heavy ammo right about at the time right about the time the Servitor starts throwing you around the arena. But Wavesplitter gave me a second weapon that had the reach, and the punch to finish him off....while still getthing thrown around the place.
