Im so sick and tired of these being in infusion. You literally cant use any of the gear you want because as soon as you get a powerful gear drop 1 light higher than what you have, you have to use it because otherwise you cant do endgame activities. I JUST WANT TO USE THE STUFF I WANT TO USE!!!
lets start a revolt
Edit: wow this blew up, hopefully we can actually remove masterwork cores from infusion
Edit #2: I want to use the stuff I enjoy, not some random legendary that is absolute garbage

2 답변You just got to wait till at least max light I look like a trash can right now but once I get the full raid set I’ll ride it out until I get 650 set then infuse for no cores

6 답변Some people are going to say that you can do the spider bounties to get masterwork Cores but to those who say that keep in mind I first have to grind the tangled shore for like 30 minutes or so to get the ghost fragments for those bounties. Then I have to actually load up and look into each planet those bounties are on. This is where people say destiny becomes more like a chore. I had a little over 40 Cores cause I had been saving up. I decided I wanted to masterwork one weapon. It took me 25 Cores to do that. You can't effectively infuse up and masterwork weapons let alone armor at the rate these drops. I don't think they have to be removed, but I do think they need to drop from more places. I don't want to always grind out the tangled shore. I don't always want to have to go through multiple loading screens and then hunting out the bounty for ONE masterwork core. How about this bungie. Drop one masterwork core for every crucible match I complete. One for every strike I complete. Drop 5 for every raid I complete. Allow me to earn those and still play the game how I want.

This whole infusion idea is an absolute downgrade from D1. I just bought the game, beat the campaign, CoO, Warmind, and am now working on Forsaken. I've yet to infuse a single piece of gear lol...why? Because I'm not spending my entire day upgrading a weapon I probably wont use next week. 'Whose stupid ass idea was this' should be the question asked. I loved D1, my grimore shows that...but this Destiny 2 is garbage due to the devs choking our playstyle with restrictions like this. Allow us to infuse anything we want practically for free. The change was made back in D1 be for a reason...member? We grind for the weapons, then need to grind JUST for them to be usable??? For Pete's sake, slap whatever moron came up with that idea. I had the game for a week and am sadly considering a BBB refund ONLY due to this. I had several weapons I enjoyed but 20 minutes later they're useless. Show me a new player whose been infusing gear BEFORE starting the Forsaken campaign please. Ain't gonna happen. So new players, enjoy NOT being able to use weapons you like after 20 minutes. Typical incompetence from BUNGIE.

You can do all of your pre-forge milestones without equipping the new gear. Just keep the items in your inventory. Powerful rewards consider your max power, even without the higgest items equipped. So.. change to shitty high power gear when you need it (not many activities do). Otherwise use whatever you want.

2 답변It incentivizing usage of different gear is dumb. They shouldn't be doing that. The collections feature is there for one, and two the gear should stand on its own lol. Something it has never really done because gear doesn't do anything notable. That or if they could it's hampered by unnecessary RNG grinding to find out lol. The way players progress in this game is dumb for what the game is. Anyway it's a dumb excuse.

I’ve been saying this for a long time but no one wants to listen to me anymore. I told you this would happen masterwork cores/enhancement cores are just another version of ascendant light which was a bad idea to begin with and bungie should have stayed with the infusing system that was featured in the age of triumph from the first game instead of is garbage that we have now

Now you did not need to use raid gear to be at the top. You could put your raid gear into the Vanguard/Crucible sets and look however you wanted. With Destiny 2 year 1 people were spoiled in a lot of regards, especially Infusion. The new system is fine, you don’t need to infuse your Ikelos shotgun every 2 power levels you get. WAIT! I had 40 sum cores going into Forsaken now I have 90+ just be smart about what you infuse. You don’t need to wait till your at the top to infuse your items but at least have a 10 power increase before you waist cores. TL;DR the new system is meant to reward those who are smart and plan ahead, and as a result punish those who go gung ho with their materials.

1 답변Instead of removing cores, just remove yourself from playing the game. I did, and life is so much better.

1 답변The one thing that is good about not being able to infuse all of the time is it gives a reason to try the new weapons. As far as the armor I don't see a reason.
-
I Agree because the original purpose of Enhancement cores was to masterwork weapons and armor and unless im infusing said masterworked weapons/armor. No one should be required to use them on non masterworked items.

5 답변Instead of infusing every single light level you get just so you can use the exact same guns 24/7, learn to use something else. I don’t spend money like crazy and complain my job doesn’t pay me well.

4 답변Or u can stop infusing every little light jump. Drops go off highest possible light not current so just keep the stuff in ur inventory and use the gear u want. Only infuse the gear up when u need to be your highest
-
They drop from a lot of legendary things that I dismantle. I don't infuse everything but I do infuse the guns I like and still have 50 (I started Forsaken with 10). They're a lot more common lately, but I see your point.
-
2 답변Infusing your armor with every light level drop is ridicule...and this is your problem not Bungie's. I hope they keep the cores because apparently most players in this game dont know how to wisely use them at the appropriate time.

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
