NO MORE “ENHANCEMENT” CORES!!!
Im so sick and tired of these being in infusion. You literally cant use any of the gear you want because as soon as you get a powerful gear drop 1 light higher than what you have, you have to use it because otherwise you cant do endgame activities. I JUST WANT TO USE THE STUFF I WANT TO USE!!![spoiler]lets start a revolt[/spoiler]
Edit: wow this blew up, hopefully we can actually remove masterwork cores from infusion
Edit #2: I want to use the stuff I enjoy, not some random legendary that is absolute garbage

7 답변God this community is full of pussy’s who defend bungie for their dumbass decisions. Like do you honestly enjoy running the same bounties over and over just for one core. Having no cores in infusion won’t affect your hardcore grind in anyway so why not let us have this one.

I agree 100%. And if they don’t get rid of them then why not offer them after every completion of a strike or crucible match. Raid a lost sector, well there is a core in that chest. I do lost sectors if there is a core. Nightfalls reward 5; gambit matches reward one for finishing a match. I never got why they did this when the infusion system was fine before forsaken

"Enhancement Cores": Seen by me as a consumable used to "[b]Enhance[/b]" ([i]verb intensify, increase, or further improve the quality, value, or extent of.[/i]) the base stats of a weapon or piece of armor. "Infusion": Seen by me as a means to "[b]Infuse[/b]" (See: Fuse) ([i]verb join or blend to form a single entity.[/i]) So let's say I have a chest piece, it has the [i][u]base[/u][/i] stats I want. Next I get another chest piece that has a higher [i][u]power[/u][/i] level, but it's [i][u]base[/u][/i] stats are useless to you... I want to use it to increase the [i][u]power[/u][/i] of the chest piece with the [i][u]base[/u][/i] stats I do want. I can't though because it's "different". I'm not "[b]Enhancing[/b]" the item... ([i]verb intensify, increase, or further improve the quality, value, or extent of.[/i]) I'm "[b]Infusing[/b]" the "different" chest piece to increase its "[i][u]power[/u][/i]" ([i]join or blend to form a single entity.[/i]) You can disagree... That's fine, but that's how I see it.

Enhancement cores in their current state I can agree with saying they are not in a good place. Visiting Spider every day after the daily reset to grab three has become a ritual that I would like to break. I think the enhancement cores should remain in the game but be used for just that, enhancing gear. Example, master working a weapon is a perfect use for them and I believe the high cost is justified to masterwork a weapon. The armor masterwork still needs some work done to it Below are some suggestions for how I would change the use of enhancement cores: Use enhancement cores to re-roll the masterwork perk and maybe even a higher cost for re-rolling a specific perk on a roll so more "god rolls" for people could actually be a thing. Make an enhancement core infuse that allows the player to pick a perk (Ex: Enhanced Hand Cannon Loader) from a higher power armor to transfer it the armor that it is being infused into. The cost should be a fairly steep price to do so (Maybe 25 cores) and this way people still have a grind but it is a grind that they can get behind to make their armor truly theirs instead of something that was solely based on RNG. We all have our personal preferences on gear we like to wear but because of the perks but there is also the side of us like like the gear for the way it looks. And it is a rarity that we actually get both (Best rolls and the Armor models we enjoy) the above would allow for it. I believe The Division did a reroll system pretty well (Still had a lot of RNG to it but at least you had a chance on gear you liked)

Haven't Mastered any set / load out because i have to change gear and spend 2 hours to get my gear perks right, all this beacause i cant use my prefered gear set. These Cores are super toxic, i feel sometimes that i gotta just grind super fast to max LL to get gear i want to use and cant enjoy the game at all while doing this. Awesome that this topic has noticed!

9 답변I agree. Do you feel the 25 of whatever resource is enough? The issue is people infused left and right without a care in the world prior to the change. I think there should still be something attached to infusing that makes you think before doing it.

10 답변If people didnt infuse every piece of gear that was 1 LL highrr than everythinh else there wouldnt be a problem. I dont infuse armor at all, just equip the best one and only infuse your exotic. Hold off on weapons till ypur fav guns are 8+ LL behind. Then infuse your main guns, not everything you have. By being smart with infusing youll never run out. Ive only struggled once with cores and it took running the leviathan raids to get my cores back. Only spastically infuse when you reach an important LL like raid ready gear or when iron banner comes out. This isnt D1, your most powerful gear doesnt need to be equipped at all times, you just need to hold onto it until your current loadout starts falling behind too much

As a year 1 player I can see the argument behind running out of content. Back then I had ALOT more time As a casual player in D2, I play maybe 4 hours a week, total. This enhancement core system is garbage and makes the grind unbearable. If this keeps up, l will just pick up clan engrams every week and do the content at the end of the season with the stuff that has decent rolls. Congrats on achieving the exact opposite of the desired effect, bungo eff that.

3 답변A HUGE bump. Tired of waiting on high value targets that people set upon like rabid dogs on rage filled rage. Grinding light again and then “enhancing” stuff was a cheap system. Always grinding cores is f*cking terrible. I hate a vault filled with unused exotics. Sunbracers, Phoenix chest plate for the sun class and many others on my warlock alone.
