The point is that there's no option to ONLY buy the black armory, so you can debate it whatever way you want and say you could split the value over x amount of content drops, doesn't change the fact that in order to play black armory right now, you have to drop the full price. Therefore the price of the content, right now, is full price.
Who knows...after the reception this one seems to be getting, maybe there won't even be others? Maybe Bungee will just give up. I don't think this is likely, but it's still possible, which is why the point below is even more apt.
How can you try to say it is worth a 3rd of the price of the pass when you have no idea what the content will be in the next drops? Maybe they will be 7 times the size of this? Or 7 times less? No one knows and it's pure speculation trying to value one thing on something that doesn't even exist yet.

You can't act like this expansion alone is $30. It's neither true, nor fair to the developers who only get $10 per player in finances to work on each expansion. They get $30 per player in total, but only 1/3 of that can be used on Black Armory. Therefore, Black Armory has a worth of $10.
