I won’t speak for anyone else, just myself.
I understand that this update was meant to drip feed content for months.
Yes, I can read.
Yes, I understood that there would be no campaign.
But, I didn’t realize that I would download the content and have absolutely nothing new to do on day 1.
I honestly don’t believe that ANYONE expected to pay and download and then head directly back into the blind -blam!-ing well to do the same old shit they’ve been doing for months.
Whether you’re cool with waiting or not, I honestly thought EVERYONE would agree that something exciting should have happened on day 1. But I guess not???
Even after Osiris I was excited to jump into Warmind to get new weapons and armor. But this... this has been the most anti-climactic dlc release ever. If a Zero excitement, wait-and-see approach is the future of dlc, I think I’ll find a new hobby.
But, please, if you support this model, tell me why. Because this is probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a video game, and I’ve played Superman 64.
*edit: I appreciate most of the comments. I really wanted to understand how people weren’t disappointed. I can’t say I agree, but at least I understand a little bit better.
To me, day 1 of any dlc should be exciting, and this one provided zero excitement. Seems like people who expected nothing on day 1 got what they paid for. I love the excitement of new content, so this model will never be okay with me.
To the people who said I couldn’t read or I’m a deadbeat for being sad about $35... I’m sorry you missed the point, but thanks for the bumps. Much appreciated.

With this being an annual pass I am just expecting things to be added to the game for the rest of the year. To me it’s like an MMO subscription fee. More destiny all year. The days things drop are not important, only that they come.

Man this makes me happy...I see all this negativity and unhappy post and I can't help but think "there's gonna be so many less ppl whining in d3"...wish u all the best in y'alls new game, I'm guessing anthem, still sad to c guardians leave...

My issue is, if you're going to trickle in content and hold what we paid for hostage, at least increase the light level gain on the milestones engrams. I'm over this company. I'm over their inability to do the right thing. It's like that one family member that's addicted to heroin and has a good few months but eventually, they just let you down.

3 답변Effective right now, they have lowered the PL of the Forges because all y’all bitches whining about it. So, you have nothing to complain about now.

First time loging in in 3-4 months. I have 2 milestones: 1. A New Season Begins: Speak with Tess Everis in the Tower. 2. Eververse Remembers: Complete a challenge anywhere in the system while wearing a Festival of the Cost mask. See y'all in another 3-4 months when Forsaken and anal pass is $10

2 답변When I read all the negative feedback about this release, it makes me happy I didn't spend the € 35. And I was really planning on buying it. Guess I'll just wait

20 답변In my opinion bungie delivered exactly what they told us they were going to deliver. Endgame Content.

Does anybody know if there will be a new patrol space ? I actually hoped that we can go somewhere new to level up for the forge. I would be fine with D1 patrol spaces as well. Or at least any sandbox changes in the open world. Change the Public Events, throw in more enemies, make the flashpoint planet harder for the week. That there is no new campaign is fine for me, no new Strikes, yeah, would loved one or two, but no new pvp or gambit maps ? I guess I have my hopes on the free Dawning event to have some variation. Bungie, please, you can do better, forsaken was sooo good.

I have no idea why Bungie never used the sabateurs on Nessus and EDZ as the initial quest get a drop of something to help level up on top of the normal and then still pursue rest of forge quest .. Even having a lower end forge to set us up for the others and get some new content to drop and keep us happy , then at least we would be progressing and not totally being left out of the black armoury experience..

6 답변Here is why I support it: If everything was released day 1, people would complain in a week about not having enough content after finishing it all. It makes more sense to have the DLC be a bit slower for the first week but then have new content be released for the next few months, so that the same people won’t complain about not enough replayability or whatever. Sure a bit more leveling content would have been cool but it would’ve only been cool for the next week or 2 before hitting 650

1 답변작성자: Crow 12/6/2018 10:20:14 AMThis whole post sounds like people that arent decent at the game. Saved two powerfuls from last week and went through the forge at 602. The forge wasn't "unobtainable"

1 답변The main problem for me is most of the powerful gear content is boring. Only fun things to me are the dreaming city ones, raids, nightfalls, and some of the spider bounties. Everything else is just boring to me. Idk maybe I just dont like this game anymore. It's just shoot shoot shoot with barely any meaning behind it

7 답변The LAUNCH was indefensible. I'm not going to try to defend it. It was a catastrophe, pure and simple. I didn't buy the pass yet, and I'm feeling like a genius, and I hate feeling that way. But the fact is, I'm doing what the people who bought the pass have to do: grinding my light up. Maybe the material that's been so efficiently blocked from you will prove to be worth the expense... I hope so. I've been with this game for 3500 hours, probably closer to 5000 factoring in time spent writing fanfiction and perusing these forums (and garnering near-universal dislike because of my refusal to mindlessly hate on Bungie). I'd like to eventually start a new adventure with Ada-1 and her deadly little toys...

3 답변No need to defend it, it was exactly what they said it would be. It's challenging end game content that is meant to be in addition to forsaken. And we only have 1 of the forges, there's more forges, a raid, and whatever else still to come. Think of it like a meal: forsaken is the main dish, BA is a side. So just relax and enjoy, it's really only been 1 day lol.

3 답변I like the fact that the forge is REAL endgame content that you need to work towards to accomplish, but I can see why people were let down.

3 답변
But, I didn’t realize that I would download the content and have absolutely nothing new to do on day 1.
maybe your game is bugged? cos i got 3 new quests and a new activity and a new vendor that (understandably) hates us. try checking for updates

5 답변The cap got bumped to 650, and its an end game based expansion. Why would anyone think they could walk through a forge at even 600? I wasn’t mad at the launch, it actually made the weekly powerful grind worth something again.

20 답변Did you try E.T. 1982? More seriously, I cannot and will not defend the choice by Bungie to put 600 players up against 620 ads and a 630 boss. That was a disastrous decision. However, I am hoping that players can be open-minded about what Black Armory offers, rather than associate it solely with the problem with the power gradient. It's undoubtedly got some good stuff to offer.
