Volundr forge is ridiculously and unnecessarily hard

Don't mind the grinding, don't mind the difficulty. What I do object to is forcing all of the new content rewards to be played in teams when many of us would rather never play with anyone else at all. I don't play crucible, I despise Gambit, I just want to go out and play the game by myself, for myself. Up to this point, that was, by and large, possible (aside from Nightfall, Strikes, and public events <which I don't mind, since I can pretty much just ignore everyone else and enjoy the event for myself>). Now it is not. I DO feel ripped off. There should have been a one-player option built into the forge ignition. Not all of us are social, but we still enjoy playing the content.... alone. Same goes for Nightfall and strikes... there should be a one-player option (yes, I recognize that some ELITE players do just that!). Ratchet down the ads and difficulty so that a decent player can unlock the game by themselves.

1 답변Throttled milestone rewards kills it for me. You can make the forge endgame, but don’t slow our only options to get to that light level.

People im being MMd with are 600 + and can't be bothered to pass this shit, funny thing is its for a legendary which is garbage in comparison to the thunderlord (Yeah yeah, new MG, can use other exotics etc) point is, people who are bitching about "casuals" are idiots who have no clue what REAL gaming is or are even MLG pro leaguers, gtfo with that shit as im fairly sure I'd drop you instantly, talking hard shit over killing tweaked AI, LOL, posers

3 답변Sounds like ppl are just having trouble w the levels. You know what’s missing? A campaign, lol. That was usually good for jump starting the power grind, esp when you hit milestone points in the story that rewarded powerful gear and/or exotics... before you even started the dlc end game content. Not sure yet.

2 답변It is not difficult. It is a few light levels too high for you. Do what the rest of us do and get your level up first... ...or go screaming about it on the forums. I know which will help you beat it more quickly.

12 답변Yep just the first forge at 600 would have been fine. I’m incredibly bored of milestones and wanted something new to do NOW, not in a few weeks. Big thumbs down.

1 답변Even after the power adjustments it’s unnecessarily hard... because people have no idea how to run it. My suggestion is to have your own fire team because idiots will be like fvck it this is too hard, or sit at the back of the map and hide with a scout, or not throw the bombs, or not kill the correct ads, or be 575, or bring the wrong weapons for quick kills they need, or just simply be average. If this is you, you’re worthless.

1 답변Its beatable with all members at 610+ I beat it with randoms with all thunderlords, shotguns and rifts. The hard part is trying till you get a team of people that are actually good.

2 답변Yeah I was shocked when I jumped into forge and got absolutely shalacked. Then the elites started spawnimg and were one shotting me. The first forge sgould have never had such a drastic power curve. I know it was only 615 (and now reduced to 610) soemthing is wrong when You can't even finish the first wave. And I'll totally self-call out here. I know Im not the best player. I did attempt to adjust my play/loadouts. It just didn't seem like it helped.

Just do it with 2 friends. Communication made it a easy run dude and by no means are my friends and I hardcore streamers or anything. Hell, one of them only does pvp primarily. Got our second try. If you having trouble with the boss I'd recommend one person wielding something explosive (I rocked 1k voices) The other two rock high dps guns such as a whisper. Find a good corner. I layed down normal healing rifts so they could peak shoot. Our hunter spammed me orbs with tether. Our other hunter spammed blades, and I spammed chaos reach. Boss melted.
