I'll connect the dots:
BUNGIE catered Destiny 2 Forsaken to streamers (who should get real jobs) and tryhard no-life gamers.
Streamers (i.e. self-proclaimed "influencers") are easily bought off with $$$ and will peddle anything to their viewers.
BUNGIE (and all game developers) should not cater their games to streamers.
Well their streamers play their games, so wouldn’t they be considered bungie’s “gamers”? And since they are popular, it’s easy to pick them out as voices of the community, because let’s be honest, a lot of those streamers are much more civilized and better at criticism than a lot of the community on reddit and on the forums.
And about the whole “streaming is t a job” thing, it’s a form of entertainment, and therefor if you don’t consider streaming a job then being a musician, actor, comedian, or any other form of entertainer, is also not a job.
