Worst it has ever been....
Crucible is officially the most unfun and broken it has ever been. I've kind of known this for a while now (how could you not?) but I hesitated to actually admit it. I pop on every day trying to prove to myself that D2 is still worth playing because let's be honest, if you're only playing D2 for PVE content then should be probably be playing a different game.
Crucible is loaded to the brim with titans skating around at sparrow speed with shotguns and skullforts. If it's not that then it's a team of Luna's which you can't get unless you have 3 other sweaties to grind out the 4 stack hell hole that is comp.
Throw in all the hacks that I keep hearing about that Bungo vaguely acknowledges and then sweeps under the rug.
I literally had a gambit match the other day where our team's enemies never spawned. We had to just stand there and wait for the other team to win because Bungo punishes you for leaving.
And now I hear the new crucible weapon is a super fast, super straight firing grenade launcher to help make crucible even more faceroll than it is.
BUNGO! quit working on D3 and fix the game you convinced us was going to be soooooo great. This is hot garbage.

Given each Destiny edition's relatively short life span for ~3 years, it doesn't make much sense to over-invest your time in D2. I suggest trying out other game titles to fill in the gap while waiting for D3 if D2 no longer cuts it for you. The Division2 and Borderlands3 are rapidly approaching, and they will have dedicated servers to avoid getting Bungie'd.

2 답변To be clear gambit is not crucible. Also titans used to be much faster and titan skating is only possible right now on PC.

I agree that it's the worst it's been. I've been playing since D1Y1 and Crucible was the most fun between TTK and ROI. I could play for hours. I can't even finish a match now because the game is just not fun. The combat isn't satisfying. Losing a match doesn't make me angry, winning doesn't make me excited. Dying isn't frustrating, killing isn't exhilarating. It's a gray bland experience. I was playing Crucible when Suros was king, I was there when Crucible was Thorn vs Last Word. I played the meta with the Matador 64 and Eyasluna and I fought Titans skating around the map with overshields and Universal Remotes. Crucible was still fun even when everyone was using a Clever Dragon. Well Crucible isn't fun anymore. If I want to play a shotgun fest I'll go play D1 because that's what it is in its current state. Frankly, Bungie managed to replicate D1s current poor state within D2 with the added bonus of moving at half the pace you move in D1 and with fewer viable abilities and fewer viable weapons. The irony is that D1 is still fun if you don't mind being a shotgun warrior, whereas this game is NOT. I don't know how it became such a massive disaster but it boggles my mind to think how they could have dropped the ball this hard. This game's PvP is totally unsalvageable. I login every week or so to see what state the game is in and every week it's worse and worse. I'll be going back to Titanfall 2 for my PvP needs and Spyro Reignited for a fun single-player experience. If I want a more involved PvE experience I'll crank up Dark Souls 3 or Breath of the Wild. Or Skyrim. Or Dishonored. Or the Masterchief Collection.

Destiny IS a PVE game with PVP on the side. Like how gambit is a side mode, or how you play halo for the campaign and maybe some PvP [i]on the side[/i] Do you want a PVP exclusive raid too? Maybe a PVP exclusive Tower or Destiny 3VP? Get over yourself. All the guns you play PvP with are designed for PVE (With literal Crucible weapons as the exception) All the super abilities you cry about are designed around PVE. If you don't play destiny for the overall enjoyment of all game modes instead of bitching that the core game mode shouldn't be why people play Destiny, then maybe YOU should find a different game.

2 답변A lot of people quit the game, a lot of people only play PVP when forced to by the quests. What’s left doesn’t like it when you have criticism about crucible. They will happily let it take everything else down.

4 답변작성자: Skinny 11/28/2018 11:16:01 AMI agree with all the points except luna teams, I personally believe that the ace of spades is much better than the Luna's howl, and now that it has been hyper buffed with its rework, luna barley competes with it; just know your range. But in terms of brain dead titan skating crutch shotgun players: I must say what do you expect when the whole Bungie pvp team are -blam!-ing terrible at pvp themselves. The whole Bungie pvp design team is useless and you should give up with attempting to believe that they will ever fix this brain dead ape meta. Just as a note I noticed that a lot of people that disagree, play on console and never touch pvp. It's a bunch of retards trying to debate about a topic they have no idea about lmao.

2 답변Players wanted easy 1 shot kills because out playing people with primaries was too hard. I miss the double primary system because I could outgun everyone. Now I have to bait shotguns all game instead. Its pretty dumb.

In HOW you had 2 primaries that mattered, a sniper-shotgun, and a sniper that killed with a single body shot In Vanilla D2 you couldn’t kill someone if you tried. So watered down that ppl were forced to cluster together in little packs to kill anything. This is FAAAAAR from the worst crucible has ever been. That said, crucible is garbage compared to other games on the market these days.

So much so that I forgot its name. Destiny IS primarily a PvE game. Better statement is if youre only playing D2 for PvP youre better off playing another game
