I'm 95% done with Luna and..........
After getting everything i wanted in PVE i decided that i wanted to go after Luna's Howl. Honestly before i started quest i was very intimidated from all that i had read about the comp list. I decided to ask on of my best friends to do quest with me and we set a schedule. Daily from 6am to 8am before work. Started about 2 weeks ago today, missed 4 days going to see family so really like 10 days it took.
If im being really honest it was alot of fun and not that hard(i think the mm gods were on my side). I got to 2100 points with Tuesdays reset and have blow thru the quest. Today i just need another 65 head shots and i got 35 in a couple hours yesterday so i should be done today.
Met some cool guardians who we teamed up with. Made friends and we always tried to stay positive, win or lose.
I'm average player. Some games i am god, other im trash. Which i think is the average experience in destiny. This season may be over but next you can definitely do this.
God job Bungie this was the most fun quest i completed. With a real sense of accomplishment. Thank you.
Edit : So i got my Luna on Wednesday and man is it fun. I have over 800 kills in less than a week. Once you learn the recoil pattern and distances you can be effective its great. Spent the remainder of the weekend helping 2 other friends get theirs. Helping was just as rewarding as getting the gun. Not forgotten is not an option i think for me.to have more range would almost feel like cheating. Good luck to those going in today to finish the quest. Stay level headed and don't quit, you got this.

But then again you did it with friends so maybe it was fun. I think anyone who did it 95% or more solo deserves and emblem or an ornament or possibly an Omaha steak.

I'm at the step where i need Solar final blows, how far along am i? And is the rank retroactive? I feel like i will reset before i get solar final blows since i only have a Titan and getting hammer kills is a slow grind when there is only 4 targets spread out all over and hammers are so easy to avoid now. And fusion nades are useless they dont even break a shield down anymore, when did they become so bad?

6 답변I’m glad you and so many others are enjoying this Crucible questline. I’m on the last step of this quest, I’m less than 500 points from Fabled with less than a week to go, and I’ve been trying to grind it out solo. Naturally, I’m ready to shoot myself! I’ve been grinding so hard, I’ve got Competitive playlist PTSD. I’m having Crucible nightmares, man! If I can get the Luna’s Howl, I swear to God, I’m never touching the Competitive playlist again.

3 답변It's a good gun. It'll be worthless when I get my two-tap TLW back, though... I seriously hope they make TLW only fan-fire from the hip. Shouldn't be hard to do when that one crappy scout has the same type of ADS perk

I did everything before i did the fabled part lol. Took me 2 hours to do the 100 precision shots. Then i did 41 or so for a friend who was at fabled and it took me about a lil over an hour, wouldve taken longer if i kept getting countdown but luckily i got a clash game and got 17 on that alone. Needless to say this was a fun quest for me, i cant wait for the next one next week.

9 답변It's BS. I'm at fabled and up to the precision kills step and long behold, I can't do it. Is it lack of skill? Maybe but it would be easier to tell if shotguns weren't a and if by give knew how to think about how a change like infinite insta kill weapon ammo may affect people's grind for a weapon. Another thing, how do I kill with headshots if I'm against a Luna's howl? I don't, it 2 taps my ass instead.

Honestly everyone who’s saying bad things about comp and how it’s unfair, I couldn’t agree with you more. But the fact is is that with everyone using nova warp and telesto it just makes it harder to get, which is the whole point of the gun; it’s supposed to be really hard to get. So as stupid and unfair crucible is, it’s not impossible. I honestly thought it wasn’t that hard to get, I got 2100 after a couple of days and am now around 2600. So just keep playing and don’t give up, it’s not impossible

69 답변congrats on luna. i dont want to burst your bubble but it was easier for you. all the serious pvpers, the "sweats" were chasing it as soon as forsaken dropped, then they got past fabled.....then the next tier of players down in terms of crucible tenacity and so on and so fourth. you said just completed it. theres no way to make this not come off rude but this late in the season, who do you think you were facing on your way up to fabled? the best or the bottom of the barrel? now, im not saying all of them were trash some were like you, beat pve and wanted a new challenge or were too busy with life to chase right away. what im saying is YOUR journey in particular wasnt that hard because the majority of the really great players already got lunas, were too high in glory to be matched against you or were already out of comp. but hey you got lunas. good shit

In all honesty, I envy you because you found people that stayed positive, win or lose, as you said. By the way, you are not an average player if it took you 10 days. I've been in the last part of the quest for a month now and I just had a game with a 4 stack of 5k Glory. It's time for me to give up! Congratulations and enjoy your gun.

5 답변I despise crucible in D2. And even though im grinding slowly to fabled i just heared that even if i got to fabled this season the next one i will have to do it again. At this point ive given up
