10 Thousand Kills later
I been trying to get an exotic engram for over 2 weeks now mainly spamming the strike on Titan "Savathun's Song" for the Golden Age quest in order to get Strum,been tracking my kills using Gunslinger only emblem in those runs to determine a drop rate but so far am over 10 thousand kills and dropped nothing so its even less than 0.01% to drop exotic engrams?

1 답변I agree that the exotic drop rates are too low. I believe I have around 4-500 hours since forsaken released and I have gotten a grand total of 3 new exotics, and none of them are ones that are particularly good.

1 답변Since the update I have gotten 7 of the new exotics,12 in total. My drop rate increased by alot,Forsaken to update = 3 exotics total,since update 12 exotics.That does not include any exotic quest weapons.

2 답변There's the problem. You didn't download the DLC. They probably throttled your drop rate to complete trash

2 답변FWIW, I’ve been trying to get a new exotic armor piece for my hunter to drop since forsaken launched and haven’t seen one.

2 답변Its crazy to rely on exotic engrams from the wild. I barely get 1 wild exotic engram per week. Instead, I get 5-6 exotics a week from just doing my milestones. Better to focus on those.

1 답변Exotics dropping from just killing enemies is really rare, I have about 200 hours since forsaken and only 2 exotics have dropped from random enemies. Completing activities without the prime engram reward in general has a better chance but not the best. You have an even better chance at exotics by completing weekly challenges (nightfall, 3 strikes, 5 crucible matches, etc.), basically anything that has that gold star symbol that rewards a prime engram. Since you have no dlcs, doing the leviathan raid should reward a good amount of exotics. Each phase completion has a pretty good chance, and each one rewards a key to a hidden chest that has a really good chance. Hope this helps.

EoW (Eater Of Worlds) Raid has a really high chance to drop a exotic at the half way mark (ONLY WARMIND, CURSE OF OSIRIS, VANILLA DESTINY EXOTICS), but if you dont have any dlc's i could only recommend the "Exodus Crash" Strike its where I got 70% of my exotics. But I hope you get one or more soon.
