Bungie and Activision Suck, let me tell you why
After releasing another yet unfinished game, Destiny 2, making customers drop $100 to have a valid AAA title with enough content to be worth replaying, they are making the game FREE for blizzard users. Guess what were getting compensated with, an EMBLEM. A freaking emblem, the least meaningful thing possible. This is not fair compensation for essentially stealing from me, I wish they could at least give us a call of duty season pass, or something close to worth the $60 being given out for free.

The game wasn’t half-baked, it was fully baked in half the time because of some shitty decisions by Luke smith. They put it out for free for a few days because they wanted to get more people into it. They’re giving an exclusive emblem and shader away to show we stick through to improve the game. They’re giving early access to two emotes because they feel like it’s a proper apology to give us in-game content early. They’re including CoO and warmind in a purchase of forsaken to make an investment of the game less costly. They haven’t started talking about D3 yet because they believe D2 can be recovered. Bungie tried to make a good game, but the parts of their contract with activison that activison put in caused eververse to exist. Bungie is trying their best to make an enjoyable game for everyone who picks it up, but activison has mucked it up with the greed of them and their “investors” that only care about the cash, not whether the publicity is good or bad.

They also gave it out on PSN and my guess is within a couple months the base game will be free for xbox. They did this to help infuse more players in to the game. They did not steal from you, they sold you a game, one that you have near 80 hours in. A year later they opened it up for free for a limited time to get more players into the pool. Its business. They are not going to give you a pass for another game for a couple reasons, one, they are trying to get more players into d2, giving a pass to another game would defeat the purpose and two COD is not a Bungie game, so they would not give you someone else's IP
