ThunderGOD/Lord - An Exotic Worthy Of The Exotic Slot
Thunderlord, or Thundergod is a perfect example of what an exotic should feel like. This weapon melts enemies in PVP and PVE, but most importantly makes the guardian feel like a real badass! The quest is super simple and the reward is probably the most powerful exotic in D2 yet. Bungie we need MORE powerful exotic armor, and weapons. Stop creating mundane stuff!

2 답변We tried riven bout 4 times with thunderlord last night. Couldn’t quite get the damage each time. I don’t think the 3 others who were not in my clan had any blessing mods on their armor tho and we’re on console. It looked so smooth on gladds video but they’re on pc and destiny’s damage output sometimes seems to be affected by frame rate issues. Has anyone on console done the cheese strat with thunderlord on console? We switched to rockets and cleared her 3 times no issues but would really like another option for this method.

14 답변Absolutely agree. I got an exotic chest for my hunter recently, I can now dodge twice, TWICE! I know, pretty awesome, I’ve always wanted to be able to dodge twice. I feel so powerful, especially when I put it in my vault to never be touched again.

If the 1k voices would drop for me, I’d also mention that 1k voices feels powerful too. I think the issue is that there’s not enough good legendary power weapons, so I feel forced to use my exotic slot there rather than in my kinetic or energy slot.

1 답변Would there be so many Lord of Thunder is great posts if it was in the RNG pool and not a quest? This gun is getting a lot of positive praise and I think part of it is that it's the first decent (though not spectacular) exotic a lot of people have gotten since Forsaken launched. Kind of a how food tastes better when you're starving kind of thing.

Meh. Actually, Luna’s howl and thunderlord have the about the same TTK. Just because you took it in an arc burn strike, and it's an arc weapon- doesn't mean it melts shit. We tried it at each raid encounter last night and it was GARBAGE compared to other typical dps weapons like Sleeper, Whisper, 1000 Voices. [b][u] It can't even out DPS a legendary shotgun[/u][/b]. Worthy of an exotic slot my ass. Confirmation bias or some shit around here. It never ceases to amaze me how people will start freaking out about how a gun is really good or really bad one day after it came out when they really haven't done their homework at all. [spoiler] waiting for some dumb-ass to link me to the one phase calus thing. I have news for you.... we were one plating callus on release of vanilla base destiny. that doesn't make thunderlord strong[/spoiler]

2 답변Nah.. Cerberus +1 is the true example of an exotic. It’s awesome perk of shooting multiple bullets in an auto rifle at once with a slower ttk than any other weapon in the game is an amazing idea. It’s an exotic... but actually opposite of what an exotic is suppose to be. Sure, thunderlord is great.. but that is expected.
