A couple days ago, my friends and myself decided to reinstall Battlenet for a free vanilla Destiny 2, knowing ahead of time making Destiny 2 free was a clever ruse by Activision and Bungie to tempt new players to buy Forsaken, Bungie's stupid microtransactions and/or possibly whatever they have planned for autumn and winter of 2019.
So I think I'll get the best answer if I ask some of you who own Destiny 2: Forsaken. Although I am expecting biased comments, Is it worth the hard earned money? If so, which edition do you recommend?

Even veterans will have a hard time giving g yhis an honest oppinion. We've been scammed and lied to so many times yet get redeemed occasionally that it's very difficult to say if any future content will be legit. Forsaken is worth it, future DLC? Be prepared to get burned.

Bungle caters to streamers. Bungle does nothing to stop cheating. Bungle encourages glitching/exploiting/cheating (teaching children this is how you get ahead) Bungle lies when caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Bungle manipulates match making to keep you around a 50/50 WL ratio. Bungle allows account recoveries (see the Recruitment section for details). Nevermind it being against the ToS (Bungle's pet streamers need the extra income so Bungle turns a blind eye). TLDR: If cheating/glitching/exploiting are your thing, the Destiny franchise is custom tailored to suit you.

Wait for a sale dude, I cannot in good conscience recommend it even with the improvements, it’s like the alcoholic uncle who keeps relapsing and he’s currently 2 months sober, you’re hopeful, but understandably cautious about him

If you can put at least 3 hours in a day, then buy it. If not, then don't. It also gets bland if you are not a Gambit sweat like myself. Also, be sure to get it with the annual pass. There is not enough content with Forsaken alone to last you another year.

2 답변작성자: GouldBerg988 11/6/2018 11:22:18 AMForsaken is a lot better than Osiris+Warmind combined (which are now included for free, I guess) , if you get hooked you are looking at easily 200+ hours gameplay. I`d call that a fair price. I would still stay away from any annual pass, as Bungie/Activision is treading on mighty thin ice with the Korean Version (were you can buy exotics). After what tehy pulled with xp throttling and Primeengram manipulations, I am not convinced that D3 will be worth my time.

I'd hold off on the pass. This DLC is definitely good and fixed a lot but that doesn't mean the rest of the DLC isnt going to -blam!- things up again. I learned my lesson with Bungo, never pre order DLC from them. Wait for reviews.

4 답변Stay away from the pass right now. Don’t follow Bungie’s terrible habit of showing you good content and then riding that hype and delivering a bunch of seriously mediocre smaller expansions. Wait to see what all comes with the pass first. My guess is it’s underwhelming and will be worth buying next year on deep discount.

it was kinda fun/interesting for a week or so, then you start to realize just how much they try to dictate how fast you can progress, what gear you'll be using since infusion requires rare materials now, and the RNG is next level stupid with repeat drops after repeat drops, and i don't just mean edge transit which has become a meme at this point but you will get a chest piece then your next three milestone drops will also be chest pieces. they may be different chest pieces but its still annoying and just slows your progression down. so no, HELL no.

Forsaken is worth it's price point. However I'd stay away from the annual pass. Anyway when the next expansion comes our they'll just give them to you like they did CoO and Warmind. And that way Xur will be relevant for awhile while you collect all the exotics you missed and the new ones are held away.

3 답변Forsaken was an awesome dlc but they definitely screwed up the exotic drop rate. Besides what you get from quests, the new exotics are pretty much non existent. It pretty much ruins the good work they did on Forsaken for me. I actually would not recommend Destiny to anyone anymore. Bungie is just too shady.
