Malfeasance ideas

So before the higher drop chance, I read Malfeasance was owned by only a 1% of players. I'm lucky enough to be one of those players but if you own it sense drop rate buff tip in on this. We all want malfeasance buffed.. it's good already but some of us think it should compare to Luna and Ace. With that said. For a buff. 3 shot explosions? There is two ways to do this. Darts only explode on a precision shot. (So body body head boom or all head.) Or darts only proc on precision shots (head head head boom) Or if you really want 3 shot explosions on anything. Of course the clip would be way to big, and forgiving so I think reducing from 15 to 12 or 9 would be good. All else stays the same. What you guys think? Also my buddy said something like this. Malfeasance stays the same but when he shot a gaurdians in the head he noticed the dart looked like a blight. We could add on to the exotic perk by 5 shot explosion AND precision shots briefly blur enemies (like a quick flash of hunter smoke or taken captain blight balls.. lasting maybe a second. Just long enough to flash the screen dark) thoughts on that as well?

  • I do not think it should be built around the Luna or Ace either. It is meant for Gambit and the Dreaming city when the taken invasion is high or during the raid / Shattered Throne. I've used it in crucible and I did not think it did that bad, not to the point of thinking it needed to be adjusted for an activity it was not built around to begin with. I Just got the Malfeasance this past weekend so I do not know how it was pre buff but I would not mind seeing them do more with it to make it even more viable for Gambit more so than the sleeper. Currently I think it does really well at killing invaders. I would really like to see a catalyst for it. Perhaps something that increases reload speed or range

    • ok leave the malfeasance out of crucible plz... it is a gun made for PvE and does really well at it, especially when stacked with other malfeasances... at primevil damage x1, 2 malfeasance did 1/6 hp of the boss. THATS INSANE. no other primary weapon can do that. imagine 4 of it. five shots anywhere on the invader kills it because of the explosions. it should not get a buff for PvP since it is not supposed to be a PvP weapon. yet you can still fight just like the trust with it. 4 shots in the head and 5 shots in the body.

      • 5 shots to activate explosive shadow is fine tbh. Maybe a blast radius buff but besides that the gun is great.

        • I believe Bungie is trying to solidify malfeasance as a gambit/ PVE weapon. I feel like a good fair buff for the weapon is to allow the same invader buff to apply while invading.
