The new Quest is Time Gated....
They just never learn, do they? Forget the fact most people didn't like the artificial longevity of other time gated content before, let's do it again...
It's true.. after you do stage 1 of the Quest you are now forced to wait an amount of time for the next stage... we got literally 2 min of content which wasn't content any different than what was already in the game, just pick up 10 drops. I think many of us were under the impression this quest would be more of a uh... story quest...
I am not here moaning about not having rewards right away - I'm disappointed because I thought me and my friend would have a QUEST to do together... what we got instead was a glorified, timegated Patrol.

2 답변Time gates are fine when predictable. As per the case of d1 exotic swords, you had to wait for armsday to continue a certain portion of the quest. You knew when that was (wednesdays). It was just part of your daily checklist like bounties and strikes and stuff. Sure a bit frustrating but at least you had some idea of when you could get past the time gate. Adds to feeling of earning something.

3 답변You don't even have to do anything. Just play as per usual and collect legendary engrams. I already have 3/10. hilariously dumb. A quest step you don't even have to pay attention to do it.

Ya I’m tired of this time gated crap.....it wouldn’t have even had to be new content for me to enjoy it.....literally they could have made it consist of running tons of strikes and killing certain wanted enemies or something for all I cared but time gating it ruins it for me.....hell I would have even rather just waited another 3 weeks and just got it all at once......this time gating crap is just stupid and annoying.

They just Don't Care about their Gamers only $$$$$

Their idea of new content is often pretty weak. Warmind adventures were weak, Osiris was weak, the dialog for forsaken was weak. Just enjoy it as a smooth shooter and don’t worry about it. Let them know their content sucks, but don’t let it get to you.

4 답변If leaks are to be believed, this quest may take 3 weeks! Why didn't they just start it at the beginning of Festival of the Lost? Oh thats right, what with Shattered Throne, Iron Banner and Haunted Forrest how on Earth would I have found the time to complete one public event? Thanks Bungie! So thoughtful.

1 답변The news post you mentioned says "additional powerful reward each week". So unless you count a quest step as a powerful reward, this week's isn't done.

Since halo I played 2 and there was a skull called IWHBYD or I would have been your daddy which is a line of dialogue spoken by sgt.johnson in reach with some minor changes or the opening cutscene quote in the mission assault on the control room in halo ce. You can only get this skull as all halo 2 skulls on legendary except for blind but it wont have the effect. You have to have 7 checkpoints before you get to where the skull is or fall and restate? After that and you pick it up you'll teleport and fight off 7 waves of elite ultras. Fun times oh and they increase so 1st wave one ultra, up until 7th wave with 7 ultras and yes they do have energy swords so good luck I nea Point is I forgot what my theory was because of halo but umm oh right 7 days till next reset so I guess 7 days to bullshit around until thundylurd shows up

3 답변Didn't even tried it :D When I got back from work Fallout 76 beta started and it was so good I will probably never touch Destiny ever again ... right now I am downloading Fallout 4 to fill the void between the betas ... Bungo being bungo again with new content ... time gated hahahahahah (laughs in West Virginia accent) ...
