Get rid of the shotguns.
Please make the game fun and playable again. Ever since you allowed the shotguns it’s been nothing but fools camping in the corners with shotguns. If you want to play hide and seek go back to kindergarten. I left Call Of Duty because of that kind of trash.
So thought I’d update this and ask the purpose of the forum?
I thought it was for suggestions and expected some negative feed back from the shotgun lovers. However as you read through the posts you’ll find the overwhelming majority is insults nothing constructive.
I even light heartedly bantered back and forth with some hoping something useful would get posted. Alas it was wasted effort.
Someone said check your radar was the closest I remember somebody getting to bring constructive. On Xbox in crucible my radar shows blue dots that are my teammates nothing else. Not very helpful.

This might be a little late, but I completely 100% agree with you. There are simply too many shotguns, especially such a weapon that involves clicking a single button for an easy kill. Honestly most shotgunners use shotguns to counter other people using shotguns, I've had people come top of the board 50 kills, but they used nothing but a shotty, I've asked some of them, politely, for a 1v1, they kill me when they use a shotgun, but when I ask them to not use a shotgun they lose. Every. Single. Time. However, to counter them SMG's were recently buffed, and boy am I mc -blam!-ing loving it. Pick up Riskrunner and get out there guardian!

2 답변There are many other guns that are virtually one hit kills and could be used the same way (grenade launchers, swords, rockets, fusion rifles, snipers, etc). Instead of blaming the shot-gunners, how about changing your play-style so you are not so vulnerable to that type of attack? Run with others, not lone wolf. Check your corners. Pop a grenade out in front of you before you round a corner. Use class abilities to give you an overshield or faster melee, use shoulder charge (if Titan), etc. Also, finally, GET USED TO IT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOING AWAY. In fact, starting in December I'd like to introduce you to my little friend named HMG! So many multi-kill sprees with that gun type in D1!

Please stop whining, check radar, back away from shotguns, use a fusion if neither trick above worked. You have summoned me.

Sometimes shotguns can be extremely annoying and other times they seem like they shoot potatoes. Be more aware of where you’re on the map, don’t run round corners for no reason, always keep an eye on the radar, back away from corners or go round them high in the air with the jumps. It’s not that difficult to counter once you take the time to change your play style a little. It took me sometime to get used to backing away and getting a good balance between aggressive and passive play on the different maps etc.

3 답변So if ya want constructive feedback on how to play better, just ask for that directly. Don’t have the “I just expected you to read my mind” BS that plagues a lotta relationships. I mean, you’re on one of the most toxic forums out there... My advice? Just avoid certain corners while you see movement on your radar. You’ll find shotgunners predictable, you just can’t push ‘em like a headless chicken.

How about this guys, instead of removing shotguns we buff other weapons like snipers and fusions so that They stand a chance against shotguns, Like oh I don't know reduce flinch on snipers so people will actually want to use them.

i play alot of crucible, i play with different hosts too so i get to go up against players from the uk,greece, west/mid/east us and when i host i mainly get latin/carribean players (i read clan descriptions while we fly to the match). of all the matches across qp/comp ive played in forsaken ive only seen 2 legit shotgun corner campers. idk what drove you to post on the forums about removal of a gun class that seemingly the majority of the player population wanted buffed.maybe you actually have bad luck and get corner camped by every player i have yet to come across. i dont want to give you the benefit of the doubt tho.you see, i looked at your stats and before you say "stats dont define skill!" your right. they dont.not one bit. anyone can farm stats BUT they do tell a story. in season 4 shotguns became prevalent and you want them gone soooo can shotguns explain why in your last 25 games you have a 0.3 kd avg with bronze elo in 4/6 game modes? you played 30 games last week in IB....where light matters.....your currently at 600 light(you had the advantage)....of those 30 games, 22 times you finished with a negative kd...can shotgun camping explain that? if shotguns can explain those stats then damn, they should be nerfed! but what about season 3? it was gravitons at a DISTANCE....so can the graviton lance meta explain why you finished with bronze elo in 6/9 game modes? no lets blame that on team shooting down a lane with graviton.how about i season 2, what was it? mida and uriels? can that explain why your stats finished as they did? how about your over all kd of 0.6 over 3 seasons, 2200+ qp games, 400 hrs or crucible time what can you blame on that? shotguns arent to blame for your stats in season 4, you cant blame graviton for season 3, and you cant blame mida/uriels for season 2 because through the seasons only 1 thing has stayed constant. you. oh btw, i see your currently playing crucible and have a sword equipped as a heavy....you know that shotgunning is a thing and youve chosen a sword. i rest my case.

Okay, so within my 3000 hours of play time, I came across this entirely abstract theory somebody mentioned to me. This extremely wise old man, who had 10,000 hours on both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 decided to let me in on a little secret. I decided to try it out... I loaded into a game of competitive... typically since i’m a bombastic needle dick klutz with a list of more than 10 mental deficiencies, I go around a corner with my gun stuck up my ass and holding my controller upside down with my feet. But this time, I did what the old man suggested. My grime encrusted eyelids were very accustomed to sitting and only looking at the very center point of my screen so it was most difficult to do this. Inch by inch I moved my eyes to look at the top left corner of my screen. “Aha!” I said. Right there on that magic little circle on the top left of my screen, it displayed a red indicator of a player “camping” around the corner. I proceeded to rip my thumb out of asshole and grasp the controller right side up instead upside down. Confidently, I went around the corner. Since I knew of the old mans trick, I knew somebody was around the corner and I pre-fired while walking around. He was dead instantly. I had conquered the corner! [spoiler]Tl;dr - Your a -blam!-ing idiot, get your thumb out from between your asscheeks and look at the damn radar.[/spoiler]

2 답변Shotguns are not a problem and their are more dangerous weapons out there. This sounds more like a case that it is you not playing to counter shotguns. Tips: 1. Learn the weaknesses of Shotguns as in short range and low ammo and use that against those who use shotguns. 2. Do not run at players. 3. Go wide around corners as you would do if you knew a sword user was in the area. 4.If someone runs at you back off to keep the range open between you as you blast them. 5. If you know someone is camping a corner or blind area go another way or bait them out. Adapt......Improvise.....Overcome.

Removing shotguns wouldn't save a bad player like yourself. I could use a potato to kill you and you'd be in here the next day crying to remove potatoes.

작성자: SaltieSeaTurtlez 10/28/2018 10:43:00 PMthree simple solutions to fix the game, get rid of the ranged ohk no skill weapons and balance all the melees and cheese in this game, also nerf ranges on shotguns a bit, buff primary weapons to kill as fast as sidearms and smgs but give smgs and sidearms i built close quarter advantages to keep them viable, like built in quickdraw just for example. a little pea shooting pistol shouldn't outgun a big AR or scout, the TTK is idiotic and unreasonable fix it, comp. rewards should not be super godly like they are, one hand cannon or pulse rifle should be breaking your game. YET, they are, why? To pad out the game, bungie cares to keep you grinding and give you a real advantage for doing so, which is why its this way. Most players hate comp and are only there for the advantage these op weapon rewards give hem in any game mode against other guardians, now say I'm crying but this was all a fact. So bungie wants the game to be this way, and its ugly.

When you see red slowly blinking on the radar, don't bother trying to fight it. Back off and bait, or find someone else to kill. Other than that I suggest hand cannons or fusion rifles to counter them in general. In Destiny 1 I would suggest a sidearm, but those are weirdly inconsistent with many hit detection issues.

3 답변if you play with either a titan or warlock in pvp you are not going to be able to do much without macros. best thing to do is to bait them into the open and use a fusion or a pulse rifle. pick up a telesto from xur this week and have fun thats what i did. still trying to get a response from bungie about macros so use carefully.

1 답변They need to remove if you crouch you disappear from radar. It’s a RADAR. It should not matter if you are crouched or not. You should still show up if you are within range. That would eliminate corner camping crotch shot gunners. JMO
