Gambit solo players are so... crap
Anyone solo playing Gambit and you inspect everyone and hope they are good and then inside Gambit they take their 3-4 motes and go to the bank to deposit and then they get 8-12 motes in while 2 guys who are trying to gather 15 motes die at the next mob because those 2 nitwits decided depositing 3-4 motes is somehow better for everyone rather than everyone killing the next mob, this ever make you question why some players play Gambit?
Gambit has been out for how long now and most players either refuse to play properly, zero effort or they just don't know how to play Gambit?
I feel like quitting Gambit entirely because people don't know how to play.

I play purely add control. I know that sounds odd but the lot of you have this irking inability to drop an add. So instead of complaining, I play to fill the gap. I generally end in solo queue 2x all 3 randos combined. Example: I get 100 kills, then the other 3 are 20/30/40. What I see is extremely poor weapon loadout issues, which is likely just a results of being extremely stuck or lazy with your weapon choices. If I see a player standing around putting clip after clip of a pulse or scout in the same add, I cry a little inside. All I can do is just wipe entire add spawns while they reload their weapon over and over again and hope they have the sense to pick up the motes and orbs I leave behind. Even then... they are standing way back, in fear of death, and playing extremely passive. Guess what? You are too slow, and your win rate reflects it. I feel as if I did not spec to kill adds in massive numbers we would never even be capable of spawning the Primeval. So I spec so we can, at least, and just cross my fingers that they have a loadout strictly for boss DPS... which generally they don't. So I don't even know WTF is going on their skulls.

2 답변Yes, they are. I do a few things to help carry them. #1, solo players are absolute trash at killing adds. If adds are not dropping like flies you will never win unless your opponents are just the worst. So I spec completely for add spawn destruction. This leaves a gap on boss killing where I must cross my fingers and hope since they are obviously not specced for add killing efficiency - I pray they have great boss DPS gear. I go into it like that. I kill at least 2x adds than all team mates combined, have killed 3x all 3 combined. Doing this drops motes everywhere, and I have little time to pick it up. I have to cross my fingers they will be behind me, at least grabbing motes. Doing this helps the rate at which motes are banked, hopefully. It then increases the rate at which a player (not me!) can go invade. This is where I try to fill a massive gap in solo queue, and it seems to work slightly better than 50% of the time. I looked up your stats, compared to mine w/ regards only to sheer ability at wiping adds. Your avg kills per round (KPR) is 24. Mine is 36. Normally, I can do 40-55 KPR, but I play all 3 classes etc. If I only played my best, I am sure my avg KPR would be closer to 45.

6 답변Your logic is flawed. Stop banking 10+ motes everytime. Its players like you that causes losing games. Late to deposit, late to invade, late to summon primeval. No wonder youre losing constantly.

1 답변Banking 15 motes it's stupid, 3 small blockers are way better than one large that will get melted by one clip of shotty. I would rather my team bank at the end of every wave and lose no motes

3 답변what about the rando that gets 15 but doesnt bank and continues killing for no reason at all then dies and does the same thing? It was so good when warlocks could kill people. i killed that guy so many times, it was very very therapeutic i tell you. He got so annoyed at me killing him, he left lol. We had lost by this point so i wanted to have fun. but we cant have nice things and bungie patched killing other guardians :(

5 답변작성자: PyroAJM 10/29/2018 5:20:10 AMSo you'd rather hoard your motes, while the other team banks small, so when you go to bank, you have 3-4 blockers to kill before you can back, putting all the motes you're carrying at risk, and slowing you from killing the next mob, because why kill them when you have 15 motes, and can't pick up any more? And then an invader comes through and wipes you all... And FYI, it shows how many motes you're carrying above your head. You're the guy I specifically target when I invade.

1 답변Depositing 4 or less is certainly a waste most of the time, but so is waiting for 15. Equally so IMO. Phalanxes are where it's at. In my experience 2+ Phalanxes are a way bigger PTA than a single ogre.

2 답변See the problem there is no one who wants to win should be saving for 15, ogres are cool but they’re without a doubt the worst of the 3 blockers to send. If you have teammates saving for 15 instead of grabbing 5-9 and banking then they’re more of a hinderance to your team than the dudes banking 3-4 because at least they’re banking.

I dont understand your anger. Who said that you should only bank 5,10 or 15? If i have 9 and see that enemy can be invading i am not waiting but bank instantly, also: 1.I would rather a teammate that banks 4 motes than one that loses 15. 2.Trying to hold 15 motes when you play solo without coordination with teammates and without help when invaders will appear is not wise. 3.Sometimes i have 3-4 motes only after a whole wave cleared because its so hard to collect them due to sliding punks that are doing nothing but collecting and guess what? I am deposing anyway. 4.People may be doing Malfeasance quest...

2 답변What you didn’t address on your rant is when you should invade and when you shouldn’t. Listen you can invade at 25, 50, and when your primeval is summoned at 75. Players like you who are holding and not banking are putting your team at a huge disadvantage because if I see a long grey bar and I’m a couple motes away from being able to invade I’m sticking those motes in and targeting you when I come over. I kill you your motes don’t get banked and your team is behind. Do your team a solid and bank to hit the magic 25, 50, 75 numbers. Invade when you have heavy or a roaming super. You do these simple things and you will win more than you lose.

A lot of people replying to you don’t seem to understand your post. If people deposit less than 5 they are not helping anyone as they are leaving less players to kill the rest of the enemies or they are not moving to the next enemies spawn because they are going to bank 2-3 motes. These people then die to knights and phalanxes often I notice as they think a sidearm is a good gun in gambit. Then the team is even worse of cos the pathetic 2-3 motes didn’t even get banked, the blockers are still there and the scrubs are dead nowhere near where the smarter players are fighting. I understand bank a few if it’ll open the portal but if it’s not then collect more motes. Don’t worry dude, haters gon hate.

Just contribute by depositing yourself is good as is keeping my the bank up which at least one person should do anyways be default.

What’s your lost motes per game while you’re bitching? 10, 15, 25? While you’re wasting the motes you collected I’m depositing mine. So.... And ya, there’s a website that was in this forum some time back that you can check your Gambit stats.
