heroic public events
can people please take 10 minutes to read up on how to do heroic public events. im sick of trying to do heroics for petras bounties only for some blueberry to take out all the taken on the blight.

New players don’t know that they have to do research in order to play and Bungie provides no help within the game. I remember being ticked off because some nut was shooting at an object instead of the bad guys. Bungle created this convoluted mess that pits players against one another. They’re to blame imho.

5 답변The people that either don't know or won't help trigger the Taken blight heroic IN THE DREAMING CITY are frustrating beyond description. I will have used 10 Acrius shots, burned through all of my Trust ammo, and still be shooting it, only for me to think I finally triggered it and have the game tell me "Event complate". All because that one Warlock kept killing all the Taken.

4 답변Barely made the Blight event heroic today in the Dreaming City. The two other persons kept killing everything including the small blights. So I just waited for the final blight, popped Empowering Rift near a small blight and kept refreshing the buff. Just got it Heroic a little while before the small blight next to me was destroyed. Luckily they destroyed the other one first. There's even a bounty rewarding Dreaming City gear for completing 3 Heroic Events. I don't mind being the only one looking for the blights for heroic during Rift Generator. Ether Ritual is difficult when you shoot the stuff alone without a rally barricade or Lunafaction rift. I don't get "upset" at Rift Generator or Ether Ritual. But Taken Blights are on Earth, Io and the Dreaming City. Come on, how oblivious can people be? Also, if everyone shoots the big blight at the first spawn location, the event is completed much faster, since you don't have to follow it two times.

There are too many douche bags in this gaming community. As you can see from your responses there are a lot folks who prefer to troll rather than be helpful. Must be some way for them to feel “superior” in some digital world to compensate for the pathetic one the live in reality. It’s not hard but it’d probably be asking a lot from some of these morons in the community. If I’m around a bunch of chimps doing that I just FT back to the load point, the event is usually still going on and you ya e the chance to come across non-douche people.

Titan walker PE... me and some other dude rushing about to put the charge things in the hole while other spastic retards stood on the top ledge trying to -blam!- the walker as quick as they can. 3 답변Agree but TBH, if there were no bounties that required Heroic public events there’s really no reason to make them Heroic due to loot drops being nerfed into the ground.

I kept hearing that people were just burning PE bosses and skipping Heroic to save time. Hadn't really seen it until this week on Titan. People continuously burning down the Walker before we could turn it Heroic. The problem is some people are trying to level other characters to 50 and others are doing bounties that require heroic PEs. Mix that in with people that just want to get them done and there is an issue. It is annoying as hell to wait around for a PE, you want the XP of the heroic and it gets burned down too quick. Can't really think of a fix though.

3 답변The problem is that there is almost no benefit anymore to making public events heroic, unless you are looking for flashpoint percentage points or doing the 1 specific petra bounty. I know how to make them heroic, I just don't usually see the point.

2 답변If I only need 10% I’ll do the quickest method possible, be that heroic or regular completion. I owe randoms nothing, and expect nothing from them. This is online gaming, thicken that skin buddy.

23 답변With the exception of a FEW bounties, what’s the point of making them heroic anymore? I can see if you’re leveling up a character and need all the xp you can get. But with the exceptions of bounties that require 2-3 “heroic” public events, what’s the point. I’m a D1 year one vet and don’t even bother to do public events anymore. You get nothing from them, there’s NO reward other than 1-2 bounties. Public events are literally useless nowadays.

Just like I take the time to: Die with 15 motes in gambit Invade with 15 motes Go collect more motes when my team have enough to pull a prime See strike modifiers as non-effectual because I am so awesome Go 1 vs 6 in the crucible
