Poor Byf is going through depression, and thinks he’s a failure. :(

Byf had posted this video a few days ago, and dear god it shocked me.
I heavily recommend you watch the video and give Byf some comfort.
The man thinks he’s a failure, when it could be the furthest thing from the truth.
I don’t know why I’m posting this, but I sure as hell know that I don’t want my man Byf to go on :(

11 답변Video just kinda sounds like he's complaining about small stuff that shouldn't really bother him. I hope he gets better but I'm not going to spend my days worrying about him nonstop. I don't really much like him or or his content in general. Dont wish anything bad on him though.

Everytime someone opens this can of worms I wonder if those people donate to support- and helping-funds, or if they would even help strangers in need. Because from my experiences people don't give a rat's ass about your problems, no matter how severe, unless you have a big name.

I wanted to start this topic when I watched the video but didn’t know how. I’m so glad someone else did. And Byf if you’re reading know that you are not a failure. No one misunderstands that your theories are theories (so keep telling us them), and your knowledgeable ideas help spark debate over those topics. I know because I am one of the people that debated around your raid lore ideas. I am so glad that you are going to do something about you’re depression and I and everyone else will eagerly await your return, though don’t feel bad about taking care of yourself. Anyway thank you from everyone in the lore community for your insightful videos and get well soon!

Look, life is a horrific slog from cradle to grave and literally nothing you do will matter given a long enough timeline. We literally DO NOT MATTER. Reality brah. It is what it is. I, for one will happily welcome oblivion and sweet, sweet nothingness, but not until I'm good and ready. I do not know byf so I, like the vast majority here, (like it or not) do not genuinely care. I don't say this seemingly horrible shit to stir up bad feelings. It just seems like bemoaning your problems to strangers on the internet is a fruitless endeavour. We all have shit to deal with. That said...chin up dude. In 100 years we'll all be gone and none of our b.s. will matter.

However, i have a hard time feeling sympathy for someone who is selfish and would egg the person on to commit suicide if it weren't them. But the very last thing you need at rock bottom is for someone to spoonfeed you your narcissistic needs, because that will be their only crutch and they will hide behind it for the rest of their life. Throwing yourself a pity party does not solve your problems, and you can't help someone who won't make the decision to help themselves. but who knows, sometimes its drastic life changing events that force you to change your outlook on life and your behaviour as a human. But that wont happen if you pamper and baby a person into thinking nothing is wrong and that everything will magically work out in the end for them because "you" are "There" for them.

I find it weird the lack of support from some in this thread, however I want to say from my own experience what Byf did, publically admitting to not only his faults but something he was ashamed of having done due to depression but also standing up and saying he is getting help and working on it takes tremendous strength. That video wasnt a pity me video it was a video he did to heal. For those who think he is a loser, is calling for pity, and is a weak person, for once just put yourself there, in his place and think about what you would do. It's not easy to even imagine, and some of you wont be able to. It's a real thing and its really scary and at times it sneaks up and you have no idea it's happening. I say all the strength of the world to Byf! He did something the majority of people can't do. For that he will never be a failure! He never was a failure!
