Fun fact, Half-Life is almost 20 years old. For old folks like me, the game was at its best when Gordon Freeman was fighting human mercenaries. The AI at the time was amazing. This week I was playing Gambit when I realized how amazing the AI is in Destiny. A Scorn Chieftan was running backwards, and without turning around or looking away from me, he jumped backwards onto a ledge. I thought to myself that this is so natural and sophisticated, it has to be the pinnacle of AI. But is it better than a 20 year old game? The community should decide.
