It has begun... raid elitism
Almost all of the LFG posts I see are 590+ 10 completions emblem required. Will check tracker.
Man get outta here with that bullshit. I've been helping underleveled and underprepared people through the raids since VOG days. The acidity and elitism bothers me to no end. Learn to play the game and stop asking to be carried through the raid.

27 답변The whole raid concept breeds toxicity and is the reason why the vast majority of Destiny players do not participate in the activity. Bungie's insistence on incorporating stupid nonsensical puzzles into the raid make it even worse. Making all 6 players stand on X at the exact time and rotate counter clockwise while jumping on another X is just plain stupid. No thanks. You all can have it. Sure, some people do ask to be carried through the raid. You say to "learn to play the game". Watching vids of the raid goes against that philosophy. Most of us would like to go into the raid and discover "how" to play it on our own. That's where matchmaking comes into play. Optional matchmaking to be specific. The elitist and toxic jackasses (not you OP) wouldn't have to bother with it, neither would guardians already in clans that are active. But for the rest of us having optional matchmaking for the NF and raid would be a great thing. Oh sure, the arguments would come in that people would bitch and moan about playing with randoms who haven't done the raid before. People should understand what the word "optional" means. Most people engaging with the raid this way would be people like me who want to "learn" how to do it on our own pace. We wouldn't be worried about a completion the first time we did it. Over time we'd be able to help newcomers to the certain sections of the raid, and so on and so forth. I don't expect Bungie to ever do this due to their stubborn nature, but one can wish.

1 답변Ive never gotten past the 2nd last wish encounter, i know how to do every step of the raid, but i dont want to join because ppl suck. Watch the tutorials BEFORE you join. I stopped raiding cus im tired of idiots that dont know what to do.

Dude. Just take the time to learn the mechanics. The raid isn’t about stepping on plates and calling out symbols. It’s about the people you play with. Yes sometimes lfg people suck. Yes. Everyone experiences this. But you will find good and fun people and enjoying playing the raid. If you haven’t done the raid and you really want to, join my clan, we’ve got spots open and we’ve got some great admins. The amount of upvotes on this post is disheartening. Message me personally and I’ll make sure this is fixed for whoever wants help. There’s good people here, I promise you guys.

If you want to try the raid for the first time just put in a forum saying it’s your first time going through the raid and that you want to try. That’s how I did my first EOW and my first SOS. A team just picked me up and they helped me get through it.

1 답변same @ 100k-nightfall...i finished one with lightlevel 560, with modifiers...the one elitist died a lot, i didnt...now trying to get it done but everyone is asking for 590 + / just stupid.

작성자: Bieltan 10/13/2018 1:22:13 PMI'm gonna put in some tips that I found made my Riven runs much easier: - PRIORITISE HOBGOBLINS. Obvious, but essential. Bears repeating. - Hunters should run regular 3 shot GG for stuns. 2 shots will insta-stun Riven, means the other players can focus on add control. Plus, y'know, easy 4-6 orbs! - If you have DPS room, shotgun rush the Eye of Riven when Stun room calls out the eyes. Leave the orb on the ground whilst you DPS Riven, then pick it up after popping eyes. Muchos time saved. - Up top, have one player deal with the Ogres that spawn during the big DPS phase. Even if they dont kill them, it ensures their aggro is taken off everyone else, meaning nobody gets bounced whilst popping eyes. All this is geared towards ensuring mechanics are performed well - theres no point obsessing over min-maxing DPS if you're missing Stuns or popping the wrong eyes because you got Ogre'd.

It is frustrating to see that stuff I get that. But there’s many ways around it. Either make your own post or still message the people. I’ve found more often than not they’re not ACTUALLY requiring that they just want to find as many higher lights as possible. Doesn’t mean they’ll turn you down.

1 답변Begun!?!?!? I give it to the raiders though. They do cool things and play the most videogamest part of D2 with masterful percision. Just don't act like only PvP people are the only ones who are asshats when it comes to winning at something they love.
