I'm pissed because I picked this game up a year later.
I'm pissed at the haters and the news platforms for bashing this game a year straight.
I'm pissed at myself for falling for the negative trend Destiny 2 had to endure and not buying the game because of that, yet I absolutely LOVED the beta a year ago.
But boi am I satisfied with how this game turned out to be.
I'm a HUGE borderlands fan, and the first week of playing Destiny 2 on pc gives me an amount of satisfaction and happiness I thought wouldn't be possible anymore after Borderlands 2.
Destiny 2 had me going 'wowww' like 40 times a story quest or just playing the game in general, it made me feel like Owen Wilson stuck on repeat.
How the planets look, feel, the fantasy to it, the eye for detail, the story, the races, the guns, the loot, the reputations, the cinematics.
Everything just works and feels so perfectly fit together.
And how did you manage to make the game SO beautiful, yet so FREAKING smooth?!
There is so much to do and I love it.
Currently, I've finished the base Destiny 2 Storyline and although it felt a tad short I absolutely loved it, knowing I'm hella late to the party I decided to do side quests, events and adventures before going into strikes.
I did a strike, and I lost my shit. It's THAT good.
Found out there are an insane amount of 'dungeons'
Lost many shits.
Started Cure of Osiris last night, had lots and lots of wowowowow moments and also lost some shits.
I haven't even touched dlc2 or the forsaken yet but my god am I excited.
I'm 25 and the last time I was THIS excited for days upon days upon days for a game was when I first played World of Warcraft & Borderlands 2 (I think I was 15/16)
Bungie, you guys are amazing & never stop doing what you do best!
'edit: Some of you seem to miss the point of me writing this, the amount I spent to play Destiny 2 vs the amount of satisfaction, thrill and overall rewarding of a game this is to me outweighs the money by a LONG shot.'

29 답변작성자: TheShadow-cali 10/8/2018 5:45:52 PM(What I'm happy about.) I don't listen to streamers that brainwash kids and teens for this company. I don't ever pre-order from this company. I wait for this company to give an update before I buy any expansions, it saves me a headache. This company has taught me to learn from their actions, not their words. There are some people on this forum that still use their head and are able to see right past this company's cheap tactics. I don't let others control how I feel no matter what they may say on this forum. I'm not afraid to speak the truth as I see it in spite of the insults I get. There are other games to play and know Destiny is not the only one I play. I spend time on this forum, it's quite entertaining at times. (What I'm not happy about) This company is over controlling how gamers play their game This company is pretending they don't know how to make a decent progression system and are deliberately dragging things out. This company is not adding the loot that is necessary to this game. This company thinks going around things like that always do will "fix" some of the issues in this game like the cors among many other things. Some gamer have this illusion they can tell who to leave this forum Some gamers think they have the right to insult others even when it has nothing to do with them Some gamers think if they don't agree with what someone may have said that they don't have the right to their opinion. Some gamers think if some don't like certain things about the game they "hate" the entire game and call them "haters". That also works the other way when some gamers call others "fanboy". The list can go on a long way, but the truth is? how one presents themselves is how another will react. If you want respect you have to learn how to give that respect in spite of what anyone has said, and the insults are not going to change that fact.

작성자: Semper_Eadem77 10/10/2018 1:57:15 PMWhat great piece of writing at long last was really nice to read something that makes me feel the same, and I’m 40 years old I have played and been a day one Destiny player have had three kids at the same time ( hard work trying to juggle D1 and a screamy baba ) all three have grown up with Destiny and know it just as well as me and I have put thousands of hours into both D1 and D2, I thought it was just me saying wow at every given opportunity but I still do now 4 years on just hooked and love playing solo and clan ,the attention to detail the story lines everything is just as you described great the game as it stands right now is amazing and the best it’s ever been I’m truly excited for the year to come , all the critics including myself in the past were wrong bungie you nailed it and so did this post cheers fella You wait till you do warmind and then forsaken your wow’s are gonna be ohhh’s argh’’ and holy shit’s that was cool

Many people love destiny, it’s why we all play it, but many of us see the mistakes and bugs and imperfections moreso than the beauty integrated into the game. i plan on playing for a good while as i am still enjoying it.

1 답변I'm very happy for you. I hope that the Destiny franchise brings you many, many happy and exciting hours of gaming. Just as, even at its weakest, it's brought me.

1 답변Forsaken is what “should have” been vanilla D2. (Minus CoO. Screw that DLC). There would have been far less salt if the game we have now was the game that shipped at launch. But of course they put as little content as possible, charged $60... charge more for one horrible DLC and one decent one, and a year later they make a great 3rd DLC, and package it all together and sell it for the same amount of money that the vanilla version sold for. It’s all about money. It always was. Look at vanilla D1, then “The Taken King” version, and finally, “The collection” with Rise of Iron and all other content released previously. All for the same price as vanilla. You pay double or triple when you’re there from the beginning. Great way to treat the people who were there from launch. Although I love Forsaken, I’ve learned my lesson. Won’t be buying D3 until a year after launch. I left for 6 months and went to Warframe after CoO.... so I can wait a year after D3 comes out and get more content for the same amount of money, while the sheep “throw money at the screen” at launch.

2 답변You are the ultimate Destiny noob. And be glad you didn't play the first year of D2, trust me. D2 is now in a much better place. Have fun, its an awesome game.

3 답변the destiny you love right now is the destiny we all hoped when it came out, so, you didn´t miss a thing, you weren´t biased, you came at the right time, destiny 2 vanilla was the most average, by the numbers, expansion made full game i´ve ever seen, i am still angry that we didn´t got this quality when it came out, it was the most pointless and self damaging soft reboot in the history of reboots.

Same I was excited for this game. However felt differently about curse of Osiris than you (since the infinite forest is literally not relevant for activities other than missions and adventures) but anyways I’m glad your enjoying the game.

In the negative’s defense, when all these parts you just played fist came out, there were no special weapons, shotguns, fusions, and snipers were considered power (heavy) weapons, and just about everything you fought was a bullet sponge and heavy was your only option for making it go a little faster, which ran out fast. Forsaken really turned it around, and I think you having waited is a blessing that you can’t fully appreciate without having been through the mess we started with. Well, it wasn’t a mess... it was just boring by comparison. With that, I must say I’m happy you’re having a blast now and I hope that continues as you make your way to forsaken and hit endgame, where the grind really begins!

5 답변I was going to read this until I got to the point where you favorably compared Destiny to Borderlands. Borderlands is so much better than Destiny that the two games aren’t even comparable. How dare you blaspheme Borderlands in that way.

1 답변>I'm pissed because I picked this game up a year later. the best thing you could do is pick this shit late y1 was a mess of xp throttling, content starvation, furtive eververse, easy content and exotics and disappointing dlc's >I'm pissed at the haters and the news platforms for bashing this game a year straight. bungo deserved every bit of bashing with this game, they messed up a lot of stuff. >I'm pissed at myself for falling for the negative trend Destiny 2 had to endure and not buying the game because of that, yet I absolutely LOVED the beta a year ago. i loved the beta a year ago and that's what made me preorder the game, two months after it was in humble bundle for 12bucks believe me you did good on falling for the negative trend, this game deserved everything >And how did you manage to make the game SO beautiful, yet so FREAKING smooth?! the art department and the people in charge of gunplay are amazing, everything looks and feels really good, too bad there're some knuckleheads in the head of the project and they keep releasing cut content as 3 hour dlc for 20 bucks and skinning us alive, then make it so if you don't have the dlc's you can't get the new ones and there you have bungo business policy >Started Cure of Osiris last night, had lots and lots of wowowowow moments and also lost some shits. this dlc is the worst i see you're easily impressed.

The graphics are good. The story isn't bad. But had you been in from the start you would have a different opinion. It is practically a different game now. So much has changed. Some for the better some for the worse. Try hards and cry hards are the only ones listened to around here. Don't get used to the way things work too much as the dynamics change about every 3 months. Nerfs and buffs will occur because people will cry about how things work rather than learn how to use them as Bungie intended. There are a lot of positive things said about functionality but the changes get made anyway when not needed.
