Is there a reason quest exotics are in the loot pool.
Just got a chaperone from doing strikes. that could have been a new forsaken exotic. im so sad. please take quest exotics out. ive done the quest if i want the gun again ill get it from collections

Yep. . . I agree! I haven't had this happen yet to me because I've only had 2 exotic drops since forsaken came out( they were both year1), but other quest exotics from pre-forsaken like sleeper, mida, and whisper aren't in the drop pool once completed so why would that change for forsaken quest exotics? Doesn't quite make sense.

5 답변The same thing could be said about ANY Exotic drop for an Exotic you've gotten prior. Why does it matter if it's a quest Exotic?

1 답변I was surprised that my clan mate got Worldline Zero as a random drop the other day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled for him - it’s a badass weapon - but part of me regretted going all over hill and dale trying to shoot those damn fragment-thingies. As much as I’d love for Rat King to just randomly drop for me, I still feel quest exotics should stay locked behind a quest.

12 답변They're in the loot pool to make it harder for you to get the new gear you paid good money for. It's a very cheap tactic to stretch out longevity, ya know, instead of making a real reward system. This way Bungie can be lazy and you still feel like you did something worth while. 77 답변Well, it is RNG, and the loot pool is the loot pool, right? The fact that you can generate any exotic you've already discovered doesn't mean it also gets removed from the loot pool - what makes quest exotics any different? Unless you're saying you want a loot pool made up of only exotics you haven't yet discovered? That's just ridiculous...

4 답변When I was with xur, it was like Okay I will hopefully get an exotic from xur and it’ll be a forsaken exotic hopefully! It was fighting lion Everyone around me and I started shooting and taking down xur with everything we got from the RAGE we had on him for NOT GIVING US A FRICKIN FORSAKEN EXOTIC! That went on for about 10 minutes. It was a good bonding experience.
