Is anyone else just plan tired of all the jumping puzzles in Destiny 2? I have had enough of them. It almost seems that when Bungie can't come up with something unique or new, we get some or another jumping puzzle? For whisper it was ok, made sense, to do it big time once. But not over and over and over. Really, if I wanted to play a platformer game, I would. But Destiny is a First Person Shooter... or it used to be, right? Enough with the blasted jump puzzles! For example, does every ascendant challenge have to be a jumping puzzle more than a combat challenge, no, enough is enough.
Edit... This topic has really hit a nerve... over 500 posts!

If you are bad at jumping in this game then I guess I see where you are coming from in your post. As for me though jumping in Destiny 2 has never been a puzzle nor a problem for me. Nothing needs to be changed in my eyes.

1 답변Jumping puzzles are frustrating. I played platformers when I was an adolescent, and if I wanted to play another one I would buy it. TTK's hive ship puzzle was the worst D1 had to offer, are there worse ones in D2? Haven't done any raids or lairs.

It’s not exactly my favorite thing to do in Destiny. I think a big problem with Destiny’s jumping puzzles is that if you wipe on one, you have start from the beginning. This problem could be fixed by making elaborate jumping sections shorter ( I should clarify, instead of making 1 huge jumping puzzle section, why not have 3 small sections, or 2 medium ones. Bungie needs to Space this shit out a bit to make sure the player isn’t spending a huge chunk of time only doing 1 thing ) and improving respawn checkpoints.

If you're going to have so many jumping puzzles in a game, perhaps the first thing you should do is make sure that the game has a physics engine where your character can land on the same spot three different times and doesn't either (1) land safely, (2) bounce off at a crazy, physics defying angle and die or (3) die instantly. That and if you can't design jumping puzzles that some classes just look at and go "right, none of my jumps will work", don't design them.

7 답변작성자: chadley71 10/5/2018 12:36:55 PMTotally agree especially as I play as a Titan. Warlocks and Hunters can fly anywhere compared to Titans. Had a nightmare with those platforms in final House of Wolves level for a while. Hated them ever since.

When you look really closely, destiny isn't a very good game. Yes it feels good to shoot stuff. However the economy is absolute trash, the enemies use 30yr old Atari attacks like stomp or go invisible, or teleport, or all 3, it's a looter but the loot pool is tiny, duplicates nonstop, the perk pool is also super tiny n very unimaginative. Levelling is stagnated by manipulated RNG giving you powerful drops that aren't powerful, nonstop. Connections are abhorrent in anything remotely PvP related. Matchmaking putting full teams Vs solo players, is obnoxious. All n all, it's a shitshow, built for streamers + addicts, by streamers + a money hungry publisher who build games to feed on addicts insecurities

21 답변작성자: StrainedDig4 10/5/2018 3:12:44 PMI see a jumping puzzle and I simply quit that activity. I bought a first person shooter, not a jumper! Guess what I will not be buying again... EDIT to those who think/believe being rude or insulting because you disagree: I still didn’t buy a jumping game...

3 답변Not a huge fan of jumping puzzles, I'm no good at them. But I hate the zap bars in the pyramidion strike even worse. Screw that section!

5 답변I personally hate them myself. The jumping puzzles in King's Fall are what turned me off that raid after the first time. Every subsequent run I would go to orbit and come back after, or have my friends pull me forward when possible.
