Getting punched by someone from where I blinked from is actually annoying. Same with getting shot through walls once I’ve already blinked past the area.

1. Don't Blink when someone is in melee range. That's a panic Blink. Don't do it. 2. Blink is a movement mode that requires you to know the exact details of how it works. Like how far it carries you, the duration of the delay before you teleport, etc. Know these things and then implement that knowledge into your gameplay.

1 답변I wish i could upvote this a thousand times. The damage registry on blink bothers me so much. Me and a friend of mine did extensive experimenting with this in private matches and noticed that any damage the blink user takes at the beginning of the blink animation (exactly when you vanish from one point) will actually be registered on the user as they exit the blink animation. This leads to scenarios where, let's say a titan throws a hammer at you (the super one not the melee one) and you blink out the way and THEN die as your animation is complete and you're nowhere near the hammer impact. It's annoying as hell because despite having the foresight to get out of the way, you will still die because of where the damage registers. In short, until your blink animation is 100% complete, any damage to the point of origin of the blink (even if you aren't there) will be registered upon exiting blink in a separate location.

2 답변This was a huge issue in d1 and was abused by anybody above average. You could tank supers with blink and it was broken op so we’re not repeating that
-
In D1 hunters had blink and it was really op with shotguns because back then you couldn’t take damage in the middle of blink. It is because of the past experience bungie has with immunity during blink that made them ultimately decide that blink will not grant immunity.

19 답변same with shoulder charge, when i activate it i should not be able to get one shotted by a shotty.

2 답변It's just lag. You actually got punched before you blinked but your game didn't get the message that you were punched until after you're done blinking.

9 답변So you want to be invincible while jumping.... Would you like infinite shotgun ammo to go with that?
-
18 답변No, if I can get hit during dodge and I don't get blink then you should be hit in the middle of it.

1 답변There's a lot of comments here talking about how blink would be the only movement that gets an invincibility frame, but considering how many drawbacks blink has, I'd say it should have one. I mean you lose your radar when you blink, you can't ready or reload your weapons and it has a cooldown preventing you from activating it consecutively. Wouldn't be too much to ask for it to act just a little bit more like an actual teleport and not be able to be shot out of the jump for the split second you're in it

1 답변작성자: Paragon 10/3/2018 10:07:44 AMThe lore states that when a warlock blinks they step into the void so it would make perfect sense for them to have an invulnerability frame while mid blink. The issue is the P2P connections and capped 30fps on console. Oh, I’m a hunter main as well.

3 답변I'll agree to a point. I main a voidwalker and over the years I have always used blink. They ( bungie ) are gonna do whatever they do and I'll adapt as long as the option to blink is still there. The whole time in using blink, across both games I've always wondered something. If I'm in fact using a form of teleportation am I removing myself from that instance, if only for a second? There has to be a point where you take no damage if your not there. In D1 I was able to blink Dodge an occasional rocket. Can't say about now, but there's a very real argument to be had.
