Xur should still sell fated engrams that guarantee NEW gear
I got 3 exotics and a Catalyst last night. All armor, two of which I had, one of which was something I’ll never use. And the Catalyst is for a weapon I’ll never use.
Receiving ONE new exotic per week, per account, will not break the game. I wouldn’t even mind if it had the chance to be a catalyst that I don’t have because weapon upgrades being activity specific AND RNG is a bit ridiculous.

I think he should just sell some freaking new gear. I don't understand why Bungie have decided to turn off duplicate protection AND get Xur to stop selling new gear every now and again. What's the point in having him around? Oh, sure new players get gear, but they have fated engrams anyway ffs
