As people continue to argue about whether there is too much randomness/ unfulfilling grind in destiny 2 at the moment, I would just like to point out that a VAST majority of players are unable to contribute their opinions to this or any debate. This means that most of the feedback bungie actually gets comes from the more hardcore side of the community because most casual players don't use forums.

3 답변So in your words... no one can really understand how casuals feel about this game because they cant express their opinion?? right? Gaming in this day in age is a time investment, if you want to get the most out of this game. Its such a paradox for "casuals" to complain and feel entitled to content made for those who play more. If these people play so little and far out that they are considered casuals then why in the -blam!- do they care about worlds first or light level grinding. Its honestly a debate between people who have the time and want to make a commitment to the game against people who dont have the time and arent willing to put in the work yet feel like they deserve every experience in this game including those meant for a more dedicated player base.

Considering forsaken brought back legit a million and a half players (judging by destiny tracker), id say the silent majority likes it as is. D2 at launch was abysmal and nothing like what people wanted. Playerbase went from 8 million to a little over 700k...which is -blam!-in amazing. After forsaken dropped we now have over 4 million logging on daily and playin the game. Numbers speak for themselves. No one wnats your casual shit.

작성자: SckidMarx 9/30/2018 3:20:46 PMI mostly come to these forums for entertainment.....I don't ever think that anything posted here makes any difference to the game....If it did then the infusion system would have been addressed better. Most people are playing the game and not on the forums....The people who complain or love watching things burn post their negativity on the forums. The people who are loving the game are playing the game and most who don't like it just move on to other stuff. LOL....This forum is the definition of a toxic entitlement mentality.....It's so very entertaining to read some of the crazy crybaby posts on here....Some times it's just great fun reading and responding

124 답변작성자: omegacon4 9/27/2018 4:11:09 PMThe silent majority will remain silent and simply won't buy DESTINY 3.... Given that BUNGIE gives away Destiny games to streamers, I imagine sales numbers will drop quite a bit....

23 답변Game dropped for group of ultra casuals. It now caters to 12+ hour playing streamers. Maybe some day bungie will focus on all those in the middle. Take raid day 1. Should it be a special day for raiding community? Or gated by LL only possible to very few?

I wouldn't say the feedback necessarily comes from causal players. It just comes from players that the most recent content release isn't designed for. People who are enjoying the game right now aren't here because they don't feel like they need to be. That's the real problem with out-of-game forums. It's never a truly accurate source of information simply because people only come here to criticize. Those people who criticize get what they ask for, and the people who were previously happy get angry and come here to complain. Then those people get changes they want, while the other audience is too busy playing the game to give a voice on the topic. Simply put, the game goes in one big loop because different parts of the community are here at different times depending on which group wants changes.

Dont now about that. Read these forums and you will know they are full of self described "casuals". But many "casuals" call themselves casual and still put in 4-6 hrs day or 20+ hrs a week. So to me thats not to casual. I consider myself a casual as I only maybe play 10-12hrs a week if that.

3 답변Why you think you “casual” players are majority? Why you think you can speak of all “casual” players? What you saying here is just YOUR opinion, nothing more than that.

2 답변The mass amount of gamers pick up a game and like it or dislike it. Most don’t give it a chance. I hated the Witcher at first. I then listened to a friend, he said “trust me give it more time” it is now the best game I’ve ever played. But the replay ability is over now and it’s just a grind with no new content just gear and weapons. Destiny atm is listening, and providing quick patches and new stuff to do every week. If they keep this up it’s going to be hard to beat. With that said.... It is leaning too much on PvP meta rewards and RNG which is .0000001% chance to get a forsaken exotic. The new issue is this new trend.. most guilds are doing this... you must try out to get a raid spot with clans. It’s ruining my favorite part of Destiny and most of the weapons are a PvP grind and Raid weapons kinda suck. So why even try to raid?

I would think it's obvious that people who don't share their opinions don't get their opinions heard. Bungie does pay attention to the general player population though. They do this by tracking how many people log on to play and how often they log in to play.

1 답변How is the vast majority "unable" to contribute their opinion. Last time I checked anyone can join the forums and post. People just do choose to.
aVAST majority of players are unable to contribute their opinions to this or any debate.
These people don’t have access to the app via phone, tablet, PC, or laptop? Unacceptable! Babies are born with one or the other in hand.

1 답변The people having fun with and enjoying the game are too occupied having fun and enjoying the game to complain/winge/whine(MAYBE offer constructive feedback) on the forums. Cheers to us.

10 답변Should keep in my mind that this place turned into the laughing stock of the internet as well. D1 Y1 you'd find great topics of useful information with 5000+ upvotes. Fire Luke Smith etc, gets the 1000+ upvotes now. Yes I know those numbers are misguided due to the actual player base being lower, point stands tho. The issue is that a good amount of the people here, just want to watch this place burn down. When people give decent feedback, discuss quality information, etc. It gets downvoted to oblivion, and shit posted on. The topic is no longer about the said information, but instead, it's about who's feelings got hurt, casual vs hardcore...edge transit. The average poster around here seems to be between 11-23 years of age. Not sure how the feedback provided here on a daily/weekly basis should be taken, truly. That isn't an insult, it's kids being kids...albeit toxicity at it's finest ( like Public Schools, hence the age group ). Yes, plenty of posters here that don't fall into that category. Plenty of older gamers post, provide feedback etc. Plenty of young adults post helpful and respective pieces too. I'm not saying everyone in that age group is a problem and I'm not saying people that fall outside that group aren't the problem. If I'm completely wrong on my assumption, then this place is truly lost as it's just filled with adults who bicker like children over petty shit daily.

Again, so many wonderful comments here with the majority being well thought out and extremely sincere. Yes, it did backfire and NO the first year was not the cause of anything. Honestly it was on par and the more this continues the more its proven correctly that the system, the foundation was laid perfectly, with the glaring issue of, "IT NEEDED END GAME CONTENT" was all that it actually 'neeeeeded' Hate to say this but it wasn't the tokens or the ease of obtaining anything (exotics sucked anyway with legendaries were on par if not better) so the ease of obtaining an exotic in the first year is a mute point. The system, at that time, couldnt or didnt provide content creators, streamers and the like, anything and I mean ANY thing to use....so the uprise started, pitch forks came out. (shoulda coulda woulda) tsk tsk! relying on bungie for ones living expenses. So here we are now with sweet 'preciousous' loot for minority. Not saying part timers can't get the loot but to do so as was stated later in this thread, "You need a top notch team on call 24/7" "SNAP!" of the fingers and the team is ready to go, this means having 3 to 6 on call to run anything, anywhere, anytime. Destiny's world is to small, content is to sparse to support this greed, lust and fame crap. It cant support a world of warcraft level of content or any MMO type of atmosphere and it sure does attempt it. Destiny is a looter shooter with some side pvp content, its Borderlands with a gorgeous sky box but not as much content, so give me a break with this silliness, give the 'silent majority' a break and let us enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed. Honestly, nothing is going to change considering the glaring advertisements or the, "Its Rick Kackis here! and today I have TONS of info to put out" that runs the show, *shrug as one melee's the creepy crawly guys that go BOOM* See you star side!

20 답변작성자: lazyandy 9/28/2018 7:05:19 AMIt’s become a race. Youtubers competing with one another to be the first to get malefeance, wish ender etc eager to drop the latest 20min vid on how you too can do this in a matter of hours/days (if you sacrifice all else). The rest of us who have full time jobs pop on in the evening after work or at weekends and gradually chip away at gambit or visit the dreaming city to do some Petra bounties - with a trip to the spider to buy two masterwork cores before logging off for the evening. To my mind this is creating a huge gulf between those that seemingly play the game for an unhealthy amount of hours and the rest of us that took it one step at a time. Most I think are hovering around 530-540 at this point from what I have seen whilst the vocal majority are ‘dude wtf are you only 540 at this point??!!!’ I love we have so much more to do/chase but all this content is being pumped out so fast to an ever seemingly hungry audience of elites the rest of us are quite frankly struggling to keep up/stay relevant. Just my two pins!
