I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but planetary vendors feel kinda pointless, the pre-forsaken ones really. They give out the same old armor with no perks on them. Not only that, but since they take planetary materials now, no one will want to sell to them since we will be hording it for infusion.
I know that non-dlc owners would be affected by this, but Bungie has to figure out something. Outside of Forsaken vendors, everyone else is kinda useless. I also hope that factions actually get new sets, they can be "remade" ones, TTK did something like that and I thought it was great.
That is all I have to say, and if anyone says stuff about why I bring this up when others issues persist like Sleeper or Edge Transit or Ace or Masterworks (wow their are a lot), its because others have already talked about these, this is something I haven't really seemed mentioned nor know if it actually matters, but I thought I would bring up anyways.

While I don't like to bump, I will do this once since I do believe that this is something that players would like to see. I understand its not as pressing to players as issues such as the Master-work cores and sleeper in gambit. But since both issues have been acknowledged, I would like to bring this up again as I think it would greatly improve Destiny 2's eco-system and loot pool.

1 답변작성자: DeathPony07 9/23/2018 12:56:52 AMThe vendors in D1 sold armor and had rotating weapon rolls every week. What the -blam!- was wrong with that? They also gave high level faction packages when you leveled up. Not some useless low level garbage that gets immediately dismantled. Exotics, faction packages, strike specific loot, and Iron Banner rewards all worked like that. Why -blam!- it all up? Because some basement dwelling neckbeard thinks a 2 month grind is fun? Nightfall and strike specific loot should be guaranteed from a skeleton key chest. Grinding nightfalls 100 times isn't fun.

I just installed D1 today and after playing for like an hour, I realized that Bungie should have kept the "legendary marks" currency system. It allowed for players to play everything but focus on getting specifically what they wanted. This new material system is kinda pointless in that its already needed for infusion and the amount you need to actually get a package is very high. D2 really should have just been part of D1 the more I think about it. D2 definitely fixed and improved things, but gosh darn it, D1 did armor and vendors way better.

작성자: KnavishPlum169 9/24/2018 5:31:59 PMSo uh, I need a favor from someone. I want to message the Mod like the edit thingy says, but I don't actually know how to get to the mods profile to message them... Its says the name is "Spawn", but I don't know who that is or how to look them up. Does anyone know who this is? I personally think this thread would be better served in the "Gear" section than just "Feedback" as this thread has morphed to be more about the armor than weapons. Thanks!

Totally agree. I would like to see some more ways to customize my sparrow as well, like horns.. perhaps. lol But for sure planetary vendors need new gear, randomly rolled, with new perks. Make these planets useful aside from the materials, plus it gives us more to hunt and work for. If you want to make them really useful, make them like the Dreaming City setup where you get bonuses on that planet or in the strikes that take place on that planet. Get 25% more planetary materials when doing Lost Sectors, Public Events and general work on the planet for Flashpoints, with a full set of planetary armor, etc.. That would give people a good reason to want that armor as an investment for grinding materials later on. IDK, just ideas, but I like the new gear, I love Forsaken, I just think it would be best to make all the planetary vendors at least somewhat useful once more with gear and loot to work for.

I have an idea as to how the vendors could work. You have each vendor sell two sets of armor, Year 1 and Year 2 sets. The year 1 has no random roll while the year 2 does. Each vendor also sells new weapons, but these are only updated with random rolls. Give the vendors a unified currency like in D1, you get them from world activities and events (Vanguard and Crucible would remain separate). World materials would drop as it does now and would also be sold by vendors. Each package would grow in price by 5 as you got more, chance of better stuff would also increase with each rank. Give the vendors ships and sparrows. Make them something we want to go to. Give each vendor an exotic mark when you reach a certain rank or something. The ranks then reset each season.

4 답변You know they are a decent place for cores, i've just recently found out. They seem to drop from them more often. Plus y1masterworks still give 1-3 cores.

1 답변I wouldn't even mind if the old planetary weapons and armor sets dropped with random rolls and perks on them. Not including that for the launch of forsaken just feels like laziness on bungies part, hopefully they'll add it in the near future

2 답변Hey, and while we're at it, could we PLEASE be able to change Elements on Energy and Power weapons again?! Or at the very least, let us farm for different Elements on RANDOM ROLLED weapons? I just don't understand why every single Legendary weapon now gets the "Exotic" treatment of having their elements -fixed-.... I know I sure didn't ask for this change, but I guess someone did...?

작성자: KnavishPlum169 9/23/2018 1:09:32 AMThinking about it, I think part of the issue is because of this gap, it feels like we have less weapons and armor to work with. With TTK, infusion was added, which allowed armor and weapons to join year 2, meaning more stuff. Since Bungie screwed up rolls in year one, this gap exists between year 1 and 2 stuff.

2 답변작성자: Ol Papa Wu 9/22/2018 10:43:39 PMWe need better armor all around, The Last Wish raid armor is just lazy and a complete missed opportunity, & with all Y1 armor sets being pretty much useless we have even less gear to use.. I mean we have the Reverie Dawn set, and then the Raid set is a reskin of that same Dreaming City Reverie Dawn set? and that's what we have for our end game armor grind? We need more enemy themed armor, and we need the return of strike loot for the more casual players, plus strike/nightfall armor would be awesome! I mean the strike armor form Destiny 1 was badass! The Titan Darkblade Helm and Hunter Mongrel Ogre Grasps were the bomb! We honestly need more of that, & its a shame they were so lazy with this new Raid sets.. It should have been The Ahamkara version of the Crota's End or Kings Fall Raid sets.. But instead we get a boring ass reskin.. I mean the Reverie Dawn set is a reskin of some blue armor set and thats what they model our Raid set off of.. Like how disappointing..

1 답변Would love that and new not a deal on with some fur and spikes and new patterns. Hell I would gladly take D1 armor over another reskin.

2 답변Yeah so far I've yet to see how this game rivals TTK in content. At least TTK had new legendary weapons and armor, seems like all the same crap from Y1 and Destiny 1.

2 답변Here's an idea: - Planet Vender's reputation is tied to how many packages you unlock. - Unlocking 10 packages will reward you a powerful engram. -Each consecutive Powerful reward will increase how many packages you'll need to unlock before the next powerful reward. -Packages will cost 25 Materials and the cost will increase after each reputation increase. - Material cost will reset at weekly reset.
-
1 답변They're not completely useless. Sure theres no new armour and that sucks, but those easy asf bounties get you those materials quicker
-
1 답변there are many other things broken in the game than missing armor... needless time wasting grinds should be number one anyone's list to take back to the development team...
