Sad.
But at least all you whiners will stop crying about it for two days...
Can’t wait for the flood of whining when those same people get to the 25 precision kills in crucible step. How many days before bungle nerfs that to normal kills.
edit: I stated this in several replies, but to be clear, this is not about elitism. I don’t care who has or gets the gun, it effects my enjoyment zero percent if every single player has the ace, it is a fun gun after all.
My issue is that Bungie made a very good gun, set it behind a very reasonable quest, then nerfed said quest because of people crying. That is bad for the game in my opinion. Vanilla d2 suffered from just handing everything out.
Not everything should be attainable without considerable effort. And as for it’s part of the story, ok so is every raid weapon. Should those be guaranteed drops? No, you have to put it in the effort.

22 답변Actually it is entirely elitism. You said your enjoyment of the gun goes to zero if everyone has it. Therefore the majority of your enjoyment of the gun isn’t how it performs but the rarity of players having it. Textbook elitism. Now shut up.

I got the quest done on the second day and within 2 gambit matches for that step, and I have to say the PvP part of the quest was a stupid idea, I get that cayde was a PvP guy, so I get why they thought it was fine, but forsaken was about avenging cayde, getting his weapon back, using it to kill uldren was us avenging cayde, but for some stupid reason they decided that in order for us to honour him is to go into the crucible and murder other guardians, that was just in poor taste. Plus we already have our gambit exotic as well as our casual PvP exotic. On top of all that the -blam!-ing gun was THE gun of the expansion, it’s the one on the cover, the one that killed cayde, they one we were tasked to get back and the one we used to end uldren, so why should the weapon have been locked behind a portion of the game that half the community won’t even touch, even though we held the gun in our hand, to me the quest should have just been the 250 kills, maybe 250 scorn instead of just 250 enemies, then the hunting the caches part across the system then the final mission because that mission was the perfect send off for him and if it was just the pve part, the quest would have felt much better and felt more like a proper send off for our hunter vanguard, but that’s just my opinion.

4 답변What OP doesn't get nor will they ever comprehend, is that the cash making business of Destiny doesn't revolve around your bubble. When lots of potential & existing customers tell you that your quest is dog shit and the player/dlc sales numbers are terrible, you gotta make your product more desirable. Who are the elitists gonna blame when Bungie sells the ip to Activision and moves on because not enough people bought the game & its expansions?

The only thing is that the story was setup to make ace of spades a story exotic. You set out to avenge cyldes murder and get back his gun. To be honest you should of just received it after finishing the story since the gun is laying on the ground. It doesn't make sense to have to do additional quest steps to obtain it. I'm all for challenging quests like the whisper but this one seems like it should have been a story reward.

1 답변So I got it #legit, and I will say in one more time for the cry baby sissy biznitches out there. This weapon did not deserve to be behind this kind of quest. This should have been the exotic handed to people thru a Ghorn type quest. I love super hard quests or missions for exotics. The spindle was by far the hardest followed by WOTH, with outbreak being right behind them and it being the most fun quested gun. God I miss my prime. It was a solid PVP choice and great at add clearing in PVE. Oh zamboni how I mess thee.

Who cares? I got it the old way, but all that does is temporarily make it you a crutch to your team because you running up to Sleeper boy with a hand cannon. It wasn't a reasonable objective. In terms of the questline and reasoning, this fits better anyway; you're building biometric data on how you move, shoot and engage your enemies. Then data is gathered on your most efficient engagements on your toughest enemies: other guardians. It wasn't a "hard" quest objective for everyone, but it was annoying to watch your teammate rush an overshielded invader and get blasted because they've got map hacks on you. This is much better for the health of the game mode while people do the quest, and will ultimately make them better with hand cannons anyway over time, even if they don't normally use them.

So am I to understand that you already have an AoS and you're still whining? Explain this to me; how does the actions of another affect your accomplishments in the slightest? If you want to be proud of the fact that you obsessed about an Exotic-Quest provided to everyone during the main story, then be proud. Sure, other people were smarter than you and continued playing the tons of new content while you obsessed about getting a Meta-weapon to make yourself feel skillful. But that's besides the point. I love when people make these complaints. You might as well wear a stamp on your forehead that reads: INSECURE: HANDLE WITH CARE. lol I'm sorry, you were saying?

I feel like if any weapon should’ve been the “handout”, it should be ace. It’s cayde’s Gun. It’s advertised all over the expansion. The campaign ends with you getting the quest. Is it so illogical that it acts as an introduction to all of the new post campaign activities, and not a mastery of them?

7 답변작성자: Ryda 9/21/2018 3:18:10 PMIf you dont care who has or does not have the gun, if every single player having it affects your enjoyment of the game in absolutely nothing as you say, why are you even here complaining? Bragging you got 5 hand-canon kills in gambit? Congrats you are now a certified PvP Pro badass, yay. I am sorry, but all i am hearing is people crying about some one else getting it slightly easier, its sounds almost like envy with a touch of salt.

2 답변I get what you're saying, but Gambit was absolutely ruined by the AoS quest. No one would play correctly and teams would bait each other into invading over and over again without actually playing. Sure, I agree that I don't appreciate the change after some of us played it fairly, but I don't think this one was specifically a problem that swings back to "the players are butt-hurt over the weapon, we need to fix this." The new flagship PvP game mode was broken as a result. that warrants the change IMO.
