Hi Dear Bungie, Community.
I would like to talk about the current situation of Destiny regarding these 3 subjects:
- Titan Class & Exotics
- Fusion Rifles as Special weapon
- Possible weapon Nerfs.
I play Destiny since beta of Destiny 1, so I'm able to understand and recognize when something is acceptable or wrong. So here is my point of view:
*** TITAN CLASS & EXOTICS ***
Titans are so broken/Overpowered right now, and here its why:
- 1 melee kill "ONE PUNCH MAN" strategy
- One-Eyed Mask Exotic (Please check Below link for the explanation):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhYlSuOHTY0
- There are some Exotics that help to get regenerate Supers really fast or take off Cool-down from Punch Abilities so they can keep spamming the "One Punch Man" strategy.
- Titan supers can ignore super abilities from other Classes, like a shot from the Gunslinger, or a Sword slash of a Warlock. which is annoying, seeing Titans running the whole day, triggering his super late and still winning the trade.
I play the 3 classes, but i can notice the difference when using Titan over the Hunter and Warlock in PvP. I can recognize the strengths of each class, but... come on Bungie, you broke the Titans in Forsaken (Even my main titan friends laugh of it).
OK, now lets talk about....
*** FUSION RIFLES AS SECONDARY WEAPON *** (and to be more specific, "Telesto").
Are you kidding Bungie... I understand that you wanted to change the play style in a different way more like Destiny 1, now there are a lot of people with Snipers and Shotguns (which is great so people can find their own style and strategy). But lets explain my nonconformity with Fusion Rifles:
- I'm a person who thinks this way - The higher the risk - the higher the reward.
- Snipers require some skill to make headshots from distance and kill people with 1 shot.
- Shotguns require at least some skill to reach you enemy in close range so you can kill them with 1 shot.
- But now in this patch, there are a lot of people with NO-SKILL, spamming Telesto. Which is a great weapon (or at least it was as Heavy Weapon) but now is tooooooo daaaaaaamn Overpowered. You can use it as Close-Mid-Long Range weapon, bullets stick to the surfaces and its 1 shot kill. So practically you are happy walking on the map and there is a guy flying/jumping (not even aiming) and you hear that hilarious sound of some birds singing, 1 second later... you just see yourself being disintegrated and that guy dancing over your dead body.
and Last but not Least:
*** POSSIBLE WEAPON NERFS *** (and to be more specific, "Sleeper Simulant").
- Ok, we are all happy about the Forskane DLC, some more exited than others.
I really miss Trials of the Nine =(. But heeeeeey!!!! you gave us Gambit. which is a GREAT game mode and I love it, not more than Trials but I'm having so much fun.
But here is the fact; I see a lot of people complaining about the Sleeper Simulant in Gambit.
So i think if you nerf that Gorgeous Weapon, which is an "EXOTIC" weapon that have helped us a lot with Bosses/Raids and some other activities. that EXOTIC will become not better than a Legendary and people wont see the reason to use it anymore.
So here is my proposal:
- Why don't you take off the Heavy Ammo if someone kills you, and in case of invade, if you kill the invader, you can pick up his Heavy Ammo. that would be better, I believe.
I would like to know your opinions and hear out your comments regarding all of these topics.
Sorry if my English is not that great (its not my main language).
And I'm not worried about the main TITANs hating this post. but this is the truth.
P.D. Wormhusk wasn't that OP (now... just useless). Have you seen the Health regen of Warlock, is the same after not being hit for 2 seconds.

Learn to kill the invader. Him dropping heavy on death is counter to your argument because he keeps killing you not vise versa. If you were killing him then it wouldn't even be an issue would it. Tip: Invaders always enter in one or two places. Opposite your spawn or opposite the wave you're fighting. Use a couple heavy ammo finders. It will drop every so often from kills this way. Use a grenade launcher with proximity detonation. It has a fast rate of fire can cross map kill. Even with their overshield it's still a two tap kill without direct impact. Proximity will get them running or jumping just wing it past them.

작성자: DuBChiri2 9/20/2018 5:05:08 PMOk so first, shoulder charge. You said it's op because it's a one-shot, fair enough, but just how many other weapons out there have fast enough ttk to kill you before you even get close? Auto rifles, smgs, pulse rifles, side arms, shotguns, handcannons, fusion rifles, and the crappy one shot grenade launchers. Now, let's take a look at how this ability works. Forces you to constantly run to have it charged, can't shoot while running obviously, the melee animation and tracking are slower than other melee animations and tracking, it is worthless unless you are running, provides multiple powerful benefits, and can one-shot. Now, I don't know about you, but to me, the positives are heavily outweighed by the negatives. Now I'm not saying it's bad, because it isnt, but it's an incredibly high risk ability, much like you said you were asking for with things like fusion rifles. There's not a single person who's used it that has ever thought it was a good idea to charge in a group of people unless they didn't see you. 6/10 times if the people your are fighting are competent, you will be short stopped, especially since shotguns and fusions are popular right now. And you brought up the supers? Really, you wanna go there? Ok then. Dawnblade is the fastest super in the game. After they buffed it's projectile speed, it essentially became a far more aggressive version of sunbreaker. In game modes like gambit it's the perfect counter to sleeper because of how fast it is. Titans can't go fast without cheating. And arc strider, well shit look at that, arcstrider can also block projectiles, dodge spam to eliminate aim assist, and still efficiently wipe the battlefield. But sentinels op because it gets to finally block projectiles? Wow that's some bias. Not saying sentinels guard isn't really good now, but it used to be trash, same with the whole subclass in general. And exotics, yeah they are powerful, not going to deny it, but look at all of the horrible exotics bungie gave titans in year one. Not saying the Hunter or warlock ones were much better, but so many of our exotics sucked because titans in general sucked in year one. Our only good grenade was pulse grenade, stickies were trash, incindieary and the works are still relatively bad, voidwalls sucks, and lightning grenade is incredibly difficult to effectively use now because of how they changed it. Titans feel more powerful because their abilities and such are always tailored to be dishing out damage. I've never thought of titans as tanks, but rather shock troopers designed to fight to survive, or die trying. Running in there recklessly like suicide soldiers just to secure that one kill, and that's exactly how they are and always have been. But people only see it as op because their class has different utilities that don't suit their own desires. Titans are DESIGNED to rush in quickly and deal heavy damage, if that wasn't obvious, look at almost every single ability, super, and exotic they have. Striker, duh. Sentinel, designed to protect allies with their own life or die trying. Sunbreaker, the big explosive super designed to rush in and annihilate anything in the way. Burning maul, the throwing hammer wants you to keep jumping back in to keep the fight going, the super is designed to deal insane close range damage. Thundercrash is obvious as hell, keep that momentum flowing. Titans only ever seem op when the game starts out or ends up too weak. Like in Destiny 1, once special was gone, shoulder charge became "op" because players couldn't consistently counter it anymore either because they suck or because they were unfortunate. Titans will always be powerful when the game favors moving because that's their entire kit. Run in and kill or die trying. Set up that base and protect till you die. Even Fabian strategy with the titan exclusive shotgun promotes this. They are designed to be in your face, and since so many players aren't able to handle that aggressiveness, they get stomped. Look at year one Destiny 2, all of their abilities were weak so being aggressive really only got you killed. Shoulder charge sucked, sentinel sucked, our grenades besides pulse sucked...its plain and obvious. Every single titan player out there has said that shoulder charge was a far better evasive ability than a damaging one because it was slow and weak. Well now it's not and it's finally being used for its intended purpose. If it didn't one shot it would suck, If sentinel shield didn't block well it would suck, if the titans exotics didn't promote their ability heavy and aggressive playstyle they would suck. Their neutral games, unlike the other subclasses, is sub par until you get that kill or hit in. Well shit, I wish my titan only had to eat my grenade to get full health and constant regen on every kill, or perks that give us our melee back faster. Titans will always be a strong class when the game plays this way. They have to be strong otherwise they are worthless. Year 1 destiny 1 and Destiny 2 shows what happens when you don't promote the titans aggressive playstyle. When you only promote passive gunplay or special spam. It's why it's so hard for people to play titans, (not as in difficulty, because every class is easy to use) they HAVE to play differently than the other classes otherwise they suck. If you aren't an aggressive titan, you WILL NOT be good with them or their abilities. It's not like the hunters and warlocks where they have abilities and perks to promote any style of play, you HAVE to be aggressive. Yes titans can be faster than hunters, yes titans can sustain better than warlocks at times, but you have to take into consideration of what they HAVE TO DO to do it. I hope I effectively summarised my thoughts XD

1 답변THIS. IS. THE. GAME. EVERYONE. WANTED. Seriously, all of you whiners need to really shut up and play. Bungie tried the balanced PVP thing and it's NOT the identity of this game. I love a balanced shooter. They tried it. I love it. No one else did and said everything was underpowered. In PVE they were right. Now, it works and fits in the lore that we're incredibly powerful. This is the game people wanted. It's made it LIGHT years better. There are TONS of OP stuff in this game so you can use plenty of it to counter other OP stuff. That's this game. We're Demi Gods. Deal with it and shut up.

1 답변I disagree with your titan statement but I'd be careful to say anything about telesto. I made a thread that mathematically proved Telesto was significantly better than any other fusion rifle in the game and people were shrieking at me trying to deny it.

16 답변Titan, its in the name. We are the tanks, that is why we should be able to more damage than other classes.

4 답변i'm going to say this once...........IF YOU THINK THAT TITAN IS SO GOOD THEM WHY DON'T YOU PLAY IT?????????

2 답변If what you’re saying is true, how come I seem able to completely run all over Titans when I do play Crucible. The one hit only works when you get the jump on someone which is ironically the same as shotguns, unless it’s used defensively. The Telesto doesn’t one shot me with 3 resilience unless I make myself a sitting duck which I don’t. My team does that job for me. The case for the Sleeper is well made though. It’s clearly a low risk, really high reward weapon that needs correcting for Gambit only. Knowing Bungie they’ll probably screw it up though. If anything though this is the best balance I’ve seen in Destiny in quite some time. Something I can’t really say for the end of D1.

11 답변작성자: Dano2point0 9/19/2018 7:07:01 PMAll fusion rifles except for Telesto were nerfed with 2.0. No one even thinks about this because Telesto is being spammed across map for easy kills. Damage was reduced across the board for all fusion rifles. High impact no longer kill in 4 bolts (except for Telesto of course), and every other archetype basically requires another bolt to kill. Precision damage increase for all other weapons had no effect on fusion rifles so they do not gain from that specific buff. The only weapon class if I'm not mistaken. Have you tried using a fusion rifle against a Super? Merciless used to OHK on a perfect shot pre-2.0. Now its damage might take out half their shield. So when you address fusion rifles, be aware that while Telesto is a problem, all fusion rifles were significantly nerfed with their move to the Energy slot.
