Nothing against ole Nolan, but he or his written dialogue just doesn’t vibe too well anymore, imo
For the same reasons male pilots have female voiced commands
Would love to call my ghost a she/her as 80% of the NPC ghosts, hell, maybe we could even get an argument going, seems the Guardian - Ghost meta atm?

Edit: No intentions to ruffle the feathers of cayde’s feathery friend.
Just a personal presence that’s been in incubation the more our current ghosts dialogue or delivery, feels to be moving away from what the origin story of what a ghost is. If it’s going to have full blown human like traits and reactions, I’d prefer to hear it coming from a female voice

6 답변I love my ghost, his name is flashlight and he can never seem to find the high beam when I’m in the middle of a hive cave, but when we’re walking through a dim lit wide open room he is like a mini sun 🙄

3 답변If they keep the existing dialogue, no. Having a female voicing the existing dialogue would make it more whiny than it already is. If the dialogue is changed to something more Sagira/Failsafe like I would be in favour of it. I'm going to put it out there, Bungie's writers have been pretty good at writing strong female characters if they could do a strong female ghost I reckon that would be alright.

2 답변Humans, Awoken and Exo's are just varations of humans. With Exo's being the whole mind of humans in an Exo body. Human minds are aperations of chaos. Ghosts where made with this information in mind, so that connecting to us was easier. So in order to help this, Ghosts needed to have both seemingly male and female versions. That's how I see it anyway.

10 답변Your ghost is a 'male' character though... The ghost that chose you and woke you up. Is male... I get wanting to change an outfit (shell) occasionally, but dang - forcing a main character into a sex-change is a bit extreme isn't it? That's like saying you're tired Ikora is female, so she should just become male. But just for you... It's weird, right? Am I just way off here?
