Here’s where I hope Bungie has learned from the past and doesnt cave to the casuals. This game is back to how it should be where it rewards the better and more dedicated players. If you want something that bad you can come out of your shell and actually do a challenging end game activity for once.

Dude, I get what you’re saying, but it’s a subclass not tied to anything in the raid. Raid weapons, armor and baddass exotics sure, but not basic abilities. The saving grace here is it drops from the first encounter-hopefully guaranteed.
-
Lots of people can’t find or don’t have a large friend list of people to go in with. LFG is a nightmare. So to me, to put what is a major part of a character behind something like the raid, which only a small % of people can or want to do or is just ridiculous. It’s not like people crying about the Claymore. That is something that isn’t a huge factor in being a Guardian. One of the skill trees is.

We didn’t know how to get our second seed of light either until the community figured it out. They don’t need to tell us every detail that’s the point of secrets. Otherwise the discovery of WotW would’ve been lack luster. The community shouldn’t have jumped the gun so soon instead of accusing Bungie of forcing a raid they should have just asked like the other guy did. But not a single other person made that attempt they just saw something they didn’t like and immediately started mobbing.
-
Have you actually tried LFG? Works great for me. I’m almost 40, work a more than full time job. I have 2 kids, I dirt bike, brew beer regularly, travel, perform maintenance on the house, hang out with friends etc.. I have managed to complete all raids since D1 as well as Sherpa after VOG. So I’m not a loser who plays all day and yet LFG seems to work for me.
-
I can understand that but even then it’s still a guaranteed drop which honestly to get the final component of power from something that is designed to make you significantly more powerful makes sense. If this was an RNG drop is completely agree but with this knowledge people are bound to find like minded people who just want to get the seed of light. It just takes effort. And very minimal. Hell I’ve already seen post on Xbox saying “3rd seed of light and maybe the rest of the raid”
-
If they don’t get it for months that’s on them and plus since it’s a guaranteed drop (which the forum poster refused to mention) why not LFG just for the third seed of light instead of the entire raid The first part if you know the mechanics require little communication if any. Again it’s quite simple find people who are like minded and get it.
-
You can’t guarantee that people will be doing that months down the line and even if you get in there is no guarantee that the group can get past the first boss. Plus you have to do this per character so it’s not a one and done deal. It requires multiple runs.
-
3 total successful runs So in short get your light up? I’m telling you the boss is really really simple. A few of my friends with disabilities cleared it and that isn’t to insult them in any way that’s to show that it took effort and their are people willing to help. And it should be like that and Bungie made it accessible though those willing to work for it.

If Bungie provided OMM so that everyone who spent money on Forsaken had an equal opportunity of participating in the Raid then I could in some small way see why they did what they did. They haven’t done this so I find it completely unacceptable. Whilst I have no problem with weapons and armour being locked behind the Raid, I do not think that class abilities should be. Games are meant to be fun not a full time job where I have to spend my time finding external people to complete my character. It’s a step too far. Having found this out regrettably I have little motivation to continue playing. The only good thing is that I did not buy the ‘ season pass’ or whatever they are calling it.
-
Then bungie should put matchmaking in the game. Having base content behind a wall with no in game mechanic to build a team is a terrible practice. Loot is fine but a class or ability is just bad. That is part of base game and having to run the raid 3 times even it is the first boss is not how a game should be.
-
They do have system it’s just in beta Plus it’s not hard again it’s all to simple to find like minded people but if extending your hand is difficult then I guess it’s traumatic. No matchmaking for blind well either. Plus it’s again guaranteed not RNG. You will find like minded people If you look
-
Well blind well is in a public space so it’s different. You can go in there and people will either join or already be there. Plus I am not sure it should be there either. The sub classes are more of a basic component to the game. Where as the raid is not public at all. If you go into it, no one is randomly joining you. If you want to make it more difficult than tie it to light level. Where as you don’t need 5 other people to decide if you can the other 3 sub classes or not.
-
5 other people aren’t really deciding whether or not you get it. You are working with 5 people to achieve a common goal Blind well also has an even bigger chance of just no one doing it. Honestly I hope this doesn’t change because too many people decide to isolate themselves and then blame the game and developers for a lack of things to do but it’s because they refuse to do everything else. You super should be considered loot. Why because it’s not just some part of you that you have by right it’s something you earn through proof of your efforts through proof that you are powerful. It’s something that you attain to make you stronger. You gain strength through a trial and from a narrative standpoint to me it fits. You should have to work tirelessly for your abilities because the journey and effort is what makes them worth attaining. It’s not some basic component. It’s something that your guardian earned through his effort and what greater effort is there than going against the purely strongest of all enemies. The Raid bosses. That is how you know you earned your power. Not from some quest or crucible kills. Not from some strike that you’ve done 12 times. You should get power by truly proving your own. Power should be a reward that you earn not a right you deserve. Attain the greatest power from the greatest challenge. Which according to this community is teamwork the one thing this game is built off of.

작성자: LegendaryLegacy 9/15/2018 11:08:51 PMYes actually the occasional melee sure but melee isn’t automatically tied to an ability so it can really be helped. I go through most PVE things forgetting I have super powers since I rely more on gun skill Also get malfeasance get to 580 them solo the first part it’s likely feasible

EXACTLY. If accessing a basic feature of the game — a subclass — requires teaming up to enter a complex endgame activity, they should have made that clear up front, BEFORE Forsaken was released. Subclasses have NEVER been locked behind endgame stuff before, and should not be now. This is a shady bait-and-switch on Bungie's part.
