I feel like they are irritating but im a solo player...
i would never do a raid if weapons and supers werent locked behind them. I want to shoot stuff not solve a rubix cube with 5 other idiots.
Opinions please?

I might like them more if not for the fact that every single run I'm in almost always has "that guy" who doesn't know the raid and completely fails to comprehend the instructions he's given. I don't think I've ever actually looked forward to a raid since my first few times in VoG. They're work and I'm only there for the loot.

I'm a solo player and I LOVE raids. I don't really know why I just like doing them with people. Sometimes you get the odd group of dicks but I can honestly say more often than not the people I lfg with are pretty chill. I've loved raiding since VoG and probably will till Destiny ends. I'll never really understand people that don't like to raid, that's like the biggest part of Destiny's end game.

Raided alot in D1 and i freaking loved it. Barely raidied in d2 as i play other things, I still love raiding. Nothing wrong with solving puzzles at all. If you know the peeps you raid with its a real blast so you dont have to deal with alot of the LFG elitest crap

I haven't raided in D2 yet, just because I didn't fine D2 Y1 interesting enough to want to raid, but, I raided all the time in D1. Like all the time. I absolutely loved it. I loved VOG, CE, KF, anf WOTM. For me it was probably the most enjoyable content in the game. But, I can see why people wouldn't enjoy raids.

작성자: DeadBySoloQ2146 9/15/2018 6:33:16 PMD1 raids from what I experienced. Vog and crota were my favourite especially vog as it wasn't a callout fest so I never had to use my mic. I even used to be the swordbearer on crota a lot of the time as so many were scared to take the role but I loved taking it. My favourite activity of all time though was prison of elders 😁 those days are long gone though now and I'm strongly considering completely moving on from this franchise. I'm literally hanging from a thread. On a plus note though my disc is kinda f,d and doesn't read properly anymore so the game itself is helping me quit 😂

Overall, I really like raiding and it was a selling point for me when the first Destiny was released. That said not all raids are created equally. I was not a fan of Wrath of the Machine nor the Leviathan and its sub raids. The Last Wish looks really promising from my standpoint. A raid that seems both grandiose and delivers with engaging puzzles and encounters. I completely understand how raids appear impossible or harrowing without a clan or group of friends. The time investment isn’t going to stay at hours for too long either. As people complete it and light levels increase the raid will fall to 30-60 minutes. That’s reasonable for me.

I love the raids. What I dont like is a raid system that only allows a certain group of players a chance at a first day clear. Teams arent beating the raid because they are much better at the game, they are beating it because they have stacked teams of 6 and a 10-15 advantage of LL. This will push more people away then it will bring the game.

Your opinion is perfectly valid, however destiny was intended to be a pve fps mmorpg. Raids were always the focus of the game from even year 1. I see nothing wrong with locking weapons, armor, and even subclasses behind the hardest endgame activity. I used to be a solo player and I would solo everything I could. But in the end the game is meant to be played with a group. They have systems set in place to help you find that group as well. Stop using "I am a solo player" as an excuse to yell at bungie. If you truly are a solo player play a game that is meant for 1 person.

I liked the D1 raids except KF. I don't like D2 raids because the mechanics are hitting the point of flawless execution required and it makes it hard to learn the encounter for the base raid; hard, prestige, and challenge should be where this high degree of coordination should be not the base.
