작성자: The Kelbi Hunter 9/18/2018 8:35:23 PMThe raids have always been my favorite thing since Vault of Glass. But as a solo player I can see how you wouldn't like them as much. You have to get yourself a good clan or group of friends to raid with every week. "5 other idiots" tells me you've never had a good raid experience with 5 other cool people to hang out with. Guided games was supposed to make this better for solo players but Bungie really dropped the ball on that whole system.

작성자: Mangy Badger 9/18/2018 8:26:13 PMWhat's to like? It's a team building, you gotta have a Sherpa, need to be part of a clan, know how to solicit/build a fire team and learn to accept being frustrated...just like the majority of us. If you're a solo shooter, Crucible provides some awesome loot.

If more encounters could be done with 1-2 of your fireteam dead I’d enjoy them a lot more. Having one person dying and leading to a wipe can be infuriating. Partly why vog was so enjoyable. If someone died it just made it harder, and the encounter could still be done

1 답변They have progressively become more and more mechanic heavy, and I've lost more and more interest. The token revive system in normal mode is just dumb. This raid was looking good till that vault. Forget that nonsense at Riven. Raids just don't look like they will be for me anymore.

Every section needs precise timing, jumping, or shooting with weapons that you have no control over getting in the game. Very heavy in mechanics and if there is a mess up then there is the pointing of fingers and a wipe and all that time spent just got doubled. It's not something for me but I am sure there is a small vocal minority who love putting themselves through that grind. I have to deal with my own problems daily and I don't need to force myself into something like a raid that would compound my issues.

8 답변작성자: CannyJack 9/16/2018 2:46:39 PMMy enthusiasm for raids has dropped considerably over Destiny’s lifetime. I never had many completions, but it fell off steeply after Crota’s End. I have a clan that likes raids, I just liked the experience less and less as time went on. Kong’s Fall a few times. Wrath a couple times. I did Leviathan once. It boils down to the fact that once you get a completion, you’ve got the whole picture. After that it’s just repetition, and that’s not nearly as interesting as the first time through. I anticipate getting one completion of Last Wish, and then stopping, unless I somehow fall in love with some element of it. Now, if raids were less plates/symbols/dps/hide-from-the-wipe-mechanic and more exploration, brutal running fights, and boss fights where the boss does not conveniently give you the tools to kill them, then things would be different.

1 답변Leviathan overall I didn’t like, but Castelum and Calus throne room I was happy enough to play. EoW was ok as it wasn’t super mechanic heavy. Spire I got about half way through the boss fight in my pkaythrough. First encounter was ok. Jumping ball throwing was boring. End encounter a bit too many mechanics for my liking. While not raid level, Whisper of the worm was my favourite thing in D2 so far. Hard, but passable with a little practice and strategy. Actually found the jumping ok. Hated the time limit though. Have enjoyed the ascendant challenges too. I’d much prefer raids to be more shooting over orb throwing, plate standing and symbol calling. If you could piece together aspects of Whisper of the worm with things like the ascendant realm fights in the dreaming city, I’d really enjoy it. Obviously longer and harder for a raid, but could be cool spitting up teams to complete objectives to allow the other team to continue etc. Light mechanics would be fine, like grabbing an orb to open a door etc, but more shooting.

1 답변
I want to shoot stuff not solve a rubix cube with 5 other idiots.
Did you just call yourself an idiot? Anyway, raids are supposed to be difficult and challenging. You're supposed to be an idiot at them at first and learn how it works. There are plenty of clans out there that'd be willing to guide you as a solo player.

I think raids are a cool way to test your might and mettle, but I don’t do them unless the reward is VERY interesting to me. Legend of Acrius looked awesome, so I did what it took to get it. Same with Y3 Necrochasm, No Time to Explain, and Touch of Malice in D1.

I love playing the raids in d1 . D2 didn’t really like leviathan it too me almost a year to go back in and clear it completely . I hated it . Straight up thought it was boring . Eater of worlds - ehh it was ok it was a mini strike cleared it twice . Spire - zero haven’t even touched it . Far cry from the d1 days . Now I grinded my ass off to be close to raid ready this weekend and wound up short . So next weekend will be the time . To me it looks pretty good I’m excited . I’m a solo player 90% of the time but when my boys are on I play all the content the game has to offer . Those are usually the best times . With that said your missing out .

2 답변Destiny was the first game of its kind I played and because of its levelling system it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and meet new people to raid with. Sure I met a lot of dicks along the way but I also made some really good friends. Most of which I met because I needed to do the raid. To me the weapons and armour are just a small bonus that make the game easier. The best things are the friendships you make along the way. But those friendships come at a price, the easier the game is the less you have to go out of your way to find people to do it with. For example the levelling system when D2 dropped was so easy I never bothered doing the raid and because of that I’ve not met any new players in D2.
