1 답변작성자: Matsudaira 9/15/2018 9:41:30 PMLet me preface by saying I put in over 1500 hours into Destiny 1. Grinding is a mechanic I’m familiar with. I also find myself less interested in wasting so much time of my life again. As Bungie said, this should be a hobby not a job. I made it a job...mistake. As long as it’s not random dropped, I can tolerate it, but definitely don’t support it. But now I am least likely to ever unlock those subs because they require a ridiculous amount of effort that I’m not interested in doing for foundational mechanics of the game. I peeked for a couple of minutes at someone playing the raid. It was Taken. If the raid is loaded with Taken, I’m not doing it. I can’t stand the Taken more than I can’t stand the Cabal, which is a big reason why I never did the first raid with D2, outside of it looking boring and the rewards seeming to be garbage. The Taken is the worst part of the franchise, and they are worse in D2. They are absolute OP cheese in normal gameplay, so the idea of dealing with them in the raid is a no-go. I can do one section with them, but if they are all the way through and the end boss - -blam!- that. Damn it, I should have just bought Spider-Man...

It should not be locked behind content that the masses as a whole can't ever or won't ever do. I didn't even like that 1 was locked behind the blind well. Not everyone can always have a full fireteam or even get 2 or 3 people to be on the same server with you in the public space. The subclasses should be a rare drop from doing crucible, strikes, heroic adventures, nightfall, things that all have immediate access to.

If I want weapons and armor and a ship and sparrow and emblem from the raid I'll do the raid but not for a subclass item which I can earn from any other activity. I think Bungie should tell us everything that can be earned and not held back it's called being transparent. Bungie clearly hid this and they knew about this and they wanted this to happen. Whats happening in Destiny 2 will happen in Destiny 3 only in a different way in a new style I guarantee it only this time I'm not going to be on the hype train for D3. Question: Why do I need to do the raid for the subclass item and not do anything else for it.
-
The issue with a lot of these people saying "just play the raid", You guys don't get it. Finding the time to do the raid is a problem on its own. I don't mind things being a grind, but I'd prefer other ways to get every subclass besides doing the raid. Due to my living conditions, Raids can NEVER happen for me because there is no time to do them. It's not going to change anytime soon, so that's 1 subclass I'm not allowed to play all because bungie can't think of better ways to not screw players over. Thanks bungie. So worth the 40 bucks.

It's like having to Go to Best Buy, at 6am on Black Friday, to be able to buy a specific Battery for your TV remote. Sure, you can live without the battery, but until you get the battery, every time you go to Best Buy, it is 6am on Black Friday... It';s fine if it's a Crucible reward in Crucible. If its a Raid Reward in the Raid... Don't bury a KEY ELEMENT in the Raid, You might as well tell people up front, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PLAY EVERY MODE, AND MAKE FRIENDS, IN ORDER TO PROGRESS IN THIS GAME. There are a number of people that prefer this game to be a single player experience.

2 답변Forcing people to do content they don't normally do-and this is a generalization, not just raiding-in video games never works. Ever. Example from other games: the devs at Blizzard periodically try to put things in PVP, mythic dungeons, higher level raiding, etc. In the previous expansion there were crafting recipes put in rated battlegrounds, which is above casual PVP. It didn't work. It won't work here, and it is especially egregious here because at least in terms of raid things Blizzard provides an in game group finder. I watched the video for the first fight of Last Wish and it doesn't seem HARD (stand on plate, kill knights, damage boss, duck into safe room, repeat) but getting into a group requires out of game sites and whatnot if you don't have a clan that survived Year 1 or a lot of friends. And if you're sub-550, forget getting in with a lot of people. This just won't work, and I'd say that if I was a full time Destiny raider.

3 답변I’m not playing the raid because I don’t have time like I used to but this is so stupid that the 3rd subclass is locked behind the raid. It should be acquired easily like the first one was.

10 답변Well, reading this comment section has made me realize one thing. Forsaken has definitely brought the hardcore pricks out of hiding. And this is from someone who doesn't mind raiding.

In my opinion, I think they should’ve done it like in Taken King, getting the subclasses by quests, I mean if they wanna make it more difficult, they can add that you have to kill a certain amount of guardians in crucible with the same element to unlock it... but at the end of the day bungie is bungie lol

Because they want the “tryhards” to feel more special and show to everyone they are doing activities that only a small % of the player base care to do. They are listening the streamers, cheaters, no life ones an idiots who give their money to a greedy company. I’m still waiting to see what’s going to happen after a 1-2 months of the release of forsaken and if those “tryhards” aka bungo major fans still playing it saying how bungo listen to them.

9 답변Hey newb here, i thought raids in destiny was THE SHIT? Isnt it like the main thing to do in this game?
-
2 답변What's wrong with that? You have to do something that's difficult? I don't see a problem with it.

13 답변Oh boo hoo. You might have to interact with other players for once. Don't wanna deal with other people? Play The Witcher.

If you want something that bad you can come out of your shell and actually do a challenging end game activity for once.
