There’s a lost sector in the Dreaming City that’s 560. The Nightfall is 540. Did you really expect the raid to be lower than that? I always assumed it was going to be around 550ish. Here’s an article from the day after forsaken released (September 5th) saying it would probably be minimum 550:

Bungie never raised it. It was always going to be 550.

Where’s your source that they raised it? 550 is the [b][i][u]recommended[/u][/i][/b] level to enter - not the actual power level of the raid. Like I said there’s a lost sector that’s 560. Do you really think the raid is going to be lower than a lost sector? Also power level cap is 600. Everyone is going to be overlevelled for it in a month.

This still doesnt make any because any person who has a job and play regularly cannot get to 540 and do the raid on the first week. This has never happened before. Most people who play regularly were always able to do the raid on the first week. This is the first time regular players aren't able to play the raid, but people who abuse exploits can.

That’s a totally different issue. I’m saying that they didn’t raise it in response to people using exploits. It was always going to be around 550. You’re saying it shouldn’t of been that high in the first place. That’s a different argument. Honestly what’s the rush anyway? Just do it a week or two later. It’s not going anywhere.

The rush is I don't want to have to play 150-200hours of dailys and weeklies to be able to do the raid. It's never been this way. And it's also totally dumb that you can't do the old raids to get more levels. The raids are the only thing I enjoy in this game and they make me farm 200 hours of shitty content to be able to play it? Total bullshit
