Edit: TL;DR - The thing that pisses me off is that people who used glitches and exploits to get higher light are rewarded by having a massive advantage over people like me who grinded my ass off for like 70+ hours. THAT is unfair.
So I know they bumped the light up due to people reaching unexpectedly high light; what they did not say (conveniently) is that it'd be so hard that normal players don't stand a chance.
The raid STARTS at 550, yet despite playing every single day after work and on my days off, amassing well over 100h on Forsaken alone, completing every daily and weekly challenge and I'm only 530, and my friends with similar playtimes are all 530-535.
What this means is basically, WE'RE SCREWED! The people who cheated their light up are rewarded, meanwhile legitimate, commited players like me and my friends have no reasonable chance of completing the raid.
I really wanted that jacket, but now I know Bungie don't want regular people to have nice things, they just cater to the cheaters and Twitch streamers (although it's not the Streamer's faults).
Really killed my excitement...

Bungie is gonna suck off the people who get World first while overlooking the exploits they abused in order to achieve it. They won't admit streamers are detrimental to their game, they encourage exploits, glitches, cheeses and broken weapons every single day. Yet bungie thinks the "free advertise" is worth the cost, which it isn't. They make the game stale with their impressionable followers who do as they say.

3 답변
What this means is basically, WE'RE SCREWED!
I've felt worse and worse about Forsaken since launch. What could be a really fun time has been sullied by RNG and a progression system that seems to be designed for professional streamers. And now I find out that now only am I at least 2 weeks from even running the raid, I'm also at least 2 weeks from the seed of light that drops from the first raid encounter (and even that seed could be an RNG drop). After all the positive changes to this game, why is Bungie showing us the door?

10 답변작성자: ShrowdOfChaos 9/14/2018 6:58:57 PMEh, people should be fine going in around 520. Enemies wouldn't have skulls at that point, maybe in later encounters but not right away. Plus you would also benefit from loot drops and gain light on the go. In my opinion it's no different than other raid launches, you have those who are at or above the recommended level, and those that are just high enough to get in, and then those who aren't.

Hate to break this to you, but nearly every raid ever the first week raiders have gone in lower than the reccommended light level and struggle in some of the combats due to be lower light than the enemies. 20ish light isn't a huge deal. 30-40 is where you really notice the pain, and 50 is where enemies are "immune" to damage. So... Guess you don't really raid that often eh?

8 답변Are you sure it starts at 550 and thats not just the final boss? At work right now can anyone confirm the power level for the first encounter ads?

3 답변It's OK to be underleveled. I soloed the Ascendant Challenge and Blood Cleaver last week when my light was in the 510's and those activities are 540.

3 답변I'm just wondering how much that jacket is going to cost. I would rather have the emblem, but I doubt that's going to happen.
