Edit: TL;DR - The thing that pisses me off is that people who used glitches and exploits to get higher light are rewarded by having a massive advantage over people like me who grinded my ass off for like 70+ hours. THAT is unfair.
So I know they bumped the light up due to people reaching unexpectedly high light; what they did not say (conveniently) is that it'd be so hard that normal players don't stand a chance.
The raid STARTS at 550, yet despite playing every single day after work and on my days off, amassing well over 100h on Forsaken alone, completing every daily and weekly challenge and I'm only 530, and my friends with similar playtimes are all 530-535.
What this means is basically, WE'RE SCREWED! The people who cheated their light up are rewarded, meanwhile legitimate, commited players like me and my friends have no reasonable chance of completing the raid.
I really wanted that jacket, but now I know Bungie don't want regular people to have nice things, they just cater to the cheaters and Twitch streamers (although it's not the Streamer's faults).
Really killed my excitement...

I like it think a few teams did the first boss all 530 ish I like he grind that’s what everyone wanted, like in D1 spamming a cave to level up. When you are high enough light happy days. I’m only 523 so you are way ahead of me :)

1 답변I'm not saying it wasn't cheesy but wouldn't that glitch just give you a bump and not smash you to 600. I mean if your 520 and you have 100 primes on the ground, they'll still all be the same light wouldn't they? Or does the game take each drop into account

15 답변No the people with really high power level used all 3 toons. You played harder not smarter

10 답변Can you provide some evidence for the claim that they purposely bumped it up or do you need an excuse? Regular players aren’t meant to be the ones that complete the raid day one or hell even week one. The rewards for this are for the hardcore players who put aside MAJOR hours to grind out and prepare for this. The powerful engram farm sucks and all but they are getting punished for it and people who haven’t done it are still making very good progress in the raid and are stuck mostly because of a little co fusion in the mechanics which is understandable considering this is the FIRST day the raid is available Stop trying to put others down just for the simple fact that they dedicate more time and work or grind harder than you. I’m not too high in light level but that’s fine as I wasn’t expecting to be able to even step foot in the raid until a week or two later. This is endgame. You cannot reach it easily so don’t be mad when you get stomped.

25 답변You have 1 levithan clear and zero SoS and zero EoW and yet i am supposed to believe you were going to do the raid today? Lol ok.

5 답변It is the streamers faults. They literally live stream themselves exploiting the game and spread the methods so more people do it.

6 답변So... it's hard, that's the problem? I don't care what other people do in pve, 99% of destiny players can't tell you who was first in the world for ANY raid. Just play it with your Bros and when you're ready, go raid. It isn't a limited time event. I think exploiting engrams is stupid too, don't get me wrong. They will be the same people complaining there's nothing to do and the content drought is ridic and blah blah blah. I for one am happy it will be a grind to get to raid levels, it means I have something to strive for with my friends as a group. Just take a breath, it'll be ok.

11 답변Yea, really disappointing in today. Got my friends together. Some woke up early from working all night. We go in and see it's 550 power. WTF was bungie thinking doing this? I feel like I've over played the game and I'm only at 528. Bungie was starting to do so good to. But failed hard on this. Also, the raid is another hamster in the cage bullshit maze of obsticles. I just want a raid where I enter a place, kill shit without any special patterns to do dps and move along. Just enter, kill, move to next area, kill everything, a boss, move a long. Not hold plates down, not circle shit. Not shoot 100 different things in a structural pattern. Just put me on a long ass strike with my friends and make it hard without all the added bullshit.

4 답변The prime engram exploit is really short term man. It’s a short term boost to power that hurts themselves in the long run, as they won’t see another prime engram in the next month.

19 답변Just curious, is there anyone, who has a full time job, who has made it to 550 without exploiting some sort of glitch?
