Edit: TL;DR - The thing that pisses me off is that people who used glitches and exploits to get higher light are rewarded by having a massive advantage over people like me who grinded my ass off for like 70+ hours. THAT is unfair.
So I know they bumped the light up due to people reaching unexpectedly high light; what they did not say (conveniently) is that it'd be so hard that normal players don't stand a chance.
The raid STARTS at 550, yet despite playing every single day after work and on my days off, amassing well over 100h on Forsaken alone, completing every daily and weekly challenge and I'm only 530, and my friends with similar playtimes are all 530-535.
What this means is basically, WE'RE SCREWED! The people who cheated their light up are rewarded, meanwhile legitimate, commited players like me and my friends have no reasonable chance of completing the raid.
I really wanted that jacket, but now I know Bungie don't want regular people to have nice things, they just cater to the cheaters and Twitch streamers (although it's not the Streamer's faults).
Really killed my excitement...

8 답변It's always been like this. People find exploits in the game. Usually in the first week of an expansion. Get's them to ridiculous light levels and way ahead of everyone else and every time Bungie let's them get away with it. Bungie should be laying down the law with these people. Not encouraging it with a wink and a smile. Put it at 510 - 520. Have people fight over the world first. Instead of the same couple of groups every single time.

OP has a point, the fact that players were able to exploit powerful engrams already have the upperhand. The average light level is 525 for most average players, 535+ for the more hardcore players. 540+ for the luckiest hardcore players and even if u did the 3 char power boost, u would probably be at 550 tops. Anything beyond 560+ at this point most likely exploited the powerful engram. Say a few could have possibly reached with rng, but seeing how yesterday went, i saw loads of 560s+ like it was a normal. I am good with how the raid is and i found it really nice and fun, but those who exploited do have the upperhand over those remained legit. i think they should have delayed the raid by two weeks, cuz they watered down the prime engrams of those who exploited, that would have given us all a chance to catch up to an equal pace, but it is done and whatever, f it. gg to anyone who already did it.

1 답변작성자: Trafalgar_Lou 9/15/2018 12:49:20 PMWhat’s the rush? I’m 525. Only just unlocked my second subclass, still collecting gear etc. I’ll probably attempt the raid in 2 weeks time. The games not going anywhere, the raids not going anywhere. So what’s the rush? Don’t have to have everything straight away. Enjoy the game before it gets stale again. I get you want the jacket and agree that they should extend the time it’s available. Knowing bungie they will, probably want to sell as many jackets as possible lol

I agree with ya about 50%: Yes it sucks that they hiked up the light level due to cheaters. And yes, it super sucks that we (as in most of the player base) needs to wait a bit longer to get our light levels to an adequate level to even attempt the raid. But it's also kind of nice too. Now i still have another week to PLAY the game with friends without every moment everyone is on being about ATTEMPTING to do the raid. Destiny 2 is finally fun. Crucible is in a good place. Weapons are balanced (few exceptions). PVE is more re-playble. We can actually CHOOSE strikes. Things are looking up. The raid isn't going anywhere. So just play the game for another week and have some fun :)

I have plenty of buddies who are over 540 through legit power leveling with 2 or 3 characters. They didn't cheat. They could be near 550 before reset. Just because you have 1 character and less time to grind them some does not take anything away from higher level people than you. Not as many people cheat and use exploits as you think.

5 답변작성자: Mr Fats 9/15/2018 11:26:04 AMI got to 550+ on all my characters and didnt use any glitches, no need to hate because you either have been unlucky with RNG or did not level up efficiently. And that nonesense with streamers and youtubers has to stop, pure jealousy

22 답변Oh a challenging activity in a game that’s supposed to be challenging? No way. How could they. The leviathan was a joke. This game needed everything this dlc brought including the difficulty and grind. If you think otherwise you’re playing the wrong game. Stop trying to ruin destiny.

But a couple more weeks and you'll be there. You just need to put in the work. I hear you by the way man, I'm 530 after absolutely caning the life out of the game. I want to raid this weekend but having watched some streamers and in the knowledge I am a mere mortal, it probably will have to keep. But I'll give it a crack at least. The point is, the game is about the grind and the raid is the top tier end game activity. It might take you a month to be ready, maybe even 2! I didn't play leviathan until after Warmind. You are basically saying you aren't happy because you can't have what you want now, with the greatest respect, and this game isn't about instant gratification, it's about the long haul.

By Bungie NOT punishing people that abused the engram system (streamers/youtubers) and raising the light levels in the raid, they have simply punished the players that HAVENT cheated. WTF Bungie? That is complete bullshit

15 답변I can not believe that so many people in the comments are missing OP’s point. He’s saying that the only way that players could be Raid-ready is if they used the Prime Engram exploit to get to the Light requirement, which means that only cheaters will have a chance at completing the Raid first. This has nothing to do with “whining”; this has to do with fairness and balance in the game, which Bungie is doing an abismal job at maintaining.

1 답변This was not organic, this was a hype tactic. It was no accident this "glitch" made it to streamers. You can't punish them when they were nudged into it.
