It still shows golden gun, Tether, Throwy hammers (Not spinny hammers), Stormtrance, Etc. And it can be VERY misleading to expect and prepare for one super but get the other.

10 답변I just memorize the noises for each super. The noise for using tether is different than using spectral blades

작성자: DiZ 9/14/2018 3:13:08 AMAll I can say is, it'd be nice to know that a Warlock isn't going to PureChill me(Nova Warp), that a Hunter is going to do so(Blade Barrage), and that a random Titan's about to Superman me from one spawn to the other(Thundercrash), not get close to me and then slam.
On a related note, I can't find a legitmate way to counter or bait Blade Barrage. Dodging it is outside of the question unless you can get right above them beforehand, and the only setup that can really do that is a Stomp-ees Hunter. Getting far around a tight, enclosed corner might just work, like in the Lounge area on Midtown. It seems to beat every Super other than Nova Bomb(which is hilariously easy to bait/dodge), and maybe Thundercrash if they fly around well enough. Similarly, Thundercrash is also very hard to counter, as it quite literally kills anything and everything from Point A to Point B in its path. Even a Super with a full Invasion overshield in Gambit. I feel like all you can really do is pray they're bad at controlling it mid-flight.
None of this really matters in Competitive, because if you care about winning(and you probably should as there's a bigger emphasis on it in that playlist), you'll check what your opponents(and potential teammates if not in a premade) are running to be prepared beforehand. It just sucks that every class now has a near-instant one-n-done Super that more often than not kills you(and only you) when you're on a streak now in Quickplay, not just Nova.
And for those unaware, getting "PureChilled" is essentially just getting solo Super'd for seemingly no actual reason other than that person felt like it. It's named after a player of the same name who was known for doing it so often as a Voidwalker in D1.
작성자: Hazel 9/13/2018 8:39:59 PMIf they take out the "playerName cast superName" in the kill feed I'll allow it. Also, it shouldn't show when an enemy has their super (having the empty super icons there is totally fine in my opinion because players can find out this info easily anyway)

I agree, 90% of the super basicly change from roaming to power house one off or vice versa, the HUD becomes pointless with out being able to set which. To those saying it should be removed, I don't think anything that gives strategic value should be removed, games can be about more then who shot first

2 답변I don't know what you're talking about, it shows new symbols when you get kills with the new supers.

2 답변In the killfeed they're different because they're... different things that kill you. In the listings alongside the score they're the same because those symbols don't represent subclass paths (Code of the Protector, Code of the Commander, Way of A Thousand Cuts, Way of the Outlaw, etc.), they merely represent overarching subclass (Sentinel, Sunbreaker, Dawnblade, Arcstrider, etc.). Having them represent specific subclasses would mean we'd need at least 18 more variants of the symbols, and that's just plain ol' convoluted and messy.

2 답변They are different? The flame knives show a flaming symbol instead of a gun and warlock chaos reach is a beam instead of shock symbol?

2 답변Must be bugged for you. I use blade barrage. Everytime I cast it, it shows way of a thousand cuts symbol
