Petition to give Gunsmith Mod Bounties
Hey this may look similar but in reading through all of my comments on my “Xur Bounty” post I came to realize something... where are mod components? I bet that pesky Gunsmith is hogging them and I’m sure he can give them out in Bounties
[b]5 Daily Bounties[/b]
Reward: [i]2 Mod Components[/i]
Example of these type of bounties would be:
[i]Defeat 100 enemies with Auto Rifles (Crucible Kills boost the percentage to 5% instead of 1% per kill)[/i]
These bounties would obviously scale to what weapon slot to which you are using (50 Shotgun Kills, 25 Grenade Launcher kills)
As I also previously stated in my Xur post, I’m not perfect so feel free to say anything, suggest things. I was thinking Banshee could be a vendor with only Daily Bounties like Shaxx and Zavala.

Edit 1: We are climbing back to the top of trending again everyone. I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees this necessity within the system and it’s such an easy fix: Bounties.

I have four FULL stacks of gunsmith parts in my inventory. I resoundingly don't need more. Give me the ability to convert them straight into Mod Components or something. Have the bounties take parts, and reward things with actual value.

3 답변hell just throw in Amanda as well. she could have bounties for exotic sparrows, ships and transmat effects or even components so i can make all my sparrows quick summon (she would also have the other perks but come on, we would all go with the quick summon) the bounties could be stuff like kill 20 enemies with your sparrow rapidly kill 3 enemies within 10 sec of getting off your sparrow land 20 tricks on your sparrow (i know we can't flip but you can still use the directional pad for basic tricks) don't use a fast travel while on a certain planet for 30 min. I'm sure someone can think of better objectives but hey people keep trying to incorporate her into the game more.

I’ve had a few mods so far from forsaken gear, along with having saved up 160 mod components. The issue isn’t how mods are obtained, it’s how infrequently you get them. I’d rather have a base increase to the drop rate, rather than having more bounties added. They aren’t the saviour of the game, able to fix issues in the blink of an eye, they are there to give casuals a way to catch up, and add a small amount of extra content. Now if they were added, it would be a nice addition, but as I said, I’d rather have a base mod drop rate increase.

1 답변When bungie said that mods wouldn't be as common as they were before, I was expecting it to be somewhere in the ballpark of 10% to 20%. Not what seems like 1% seeing as I haven't gotten a single weapon or armor piece to drop with a mod. All my mods I have I got from dismantling my old stuff and buying them from the gunsmith. Currently rocking voidwalker with 5 grenade mods and eye of another world, with attunement of fission. [spoiler]27.5 second cooldown on grenade = many many handheld supernova kills in crucible. Gotta fight the shotgun meta somehow.[/spoiler]

5 답변how many mod components do you have? how many do you need? do you upgrade every new piece you get? learn patience, hold onto materials, time will lend itself to the path forward. THEN use components. ftr I have 500+ but then I did save up a ton of blue and purple for dismantling just before the new system, as I had been collecting them for month at that point.
