This is how it should be.
Edit: Just to be clear, I haven’t yet had a Forsaken exotic drop.

1 답변작성자: Korrvis 11/27/2018 1:49:52 AMI have pretty much been playing all day every day since the 10th of November. One Forsaken exotic which *in my opinion,* isn't that good. Trinity Ghoul. I wasted the entire thanksgiving break I had just to turn up with absolutely nothing. All day. Every day. Sonething actually needs to be done. I have both my hunter and titan up to 520 (around) Ok so. I just got an exotic, Aeon Swift. I never want to play Destiny ever again tbh..

작성자: ObsidionStar 11/26/2018 2:03:52 PMI've put in a surprisingly small amount of time into Forsaken, compared to D1 and D2Y1, but even then I've only snagged 2 exotic drops (telesto which I acquired Y1 and never used (I don't care for fusion rifles) and Kephri's horn which was 2 light below the helmet I had equipped when it dropped) but I still feel like I've gotten bare bones rewards. I'm not going to say I hate the current drop rate, but I do feel like it could use a nudge up (not double or triple the current rate, but like 10-25% more than the current rate) enough to make drops obtainable by more casual players, but not super common place for more hardcore players. But more importantly than that there needs (I'm actually going to move away from just saying 'want') to be bad luck prevention, less dupes or at least dupes that aren't pointless (my telesto was only 2 light higher than my best secondary, which is frustrating to say the least) perhaps dupes that have a small bonus light level, or progression for catalysts, or lower infusion costs for any weapons absorbing it (food for thought). I remember getting really excited about some of the exotic weapons (two-tailed fox in particular) and then when I learned what the drop rates were like, it didn't encourage me to play more, it made me want to give up, there are still Y1 exotics I haven't been lucky enough to get, couple that with the drop rate, and the likelihood of dupes, the grind just doesn't seem worth it. Tl;dr: slightly tweak drop rates (random numbers) like 0.01 to 0.011-0.0125, and for the love of all that is good put some sort of bad luck preventention in. Edit: I now realize I'm quite late to the party, I've only just now found news about bungie's stance and the situation that isn't a month old. But I'll keep this here as a note of (hopefully) more constructive criticism than just "bad try again". If watching devs has taught me anything it's that they prefer to think out these things, and changes to any game in such an impactful way as this tends to be slow. So in the mean time I'm willing to wait a bit, but I still hope there are changes soon, and that they do increase the experience in the ways they intend.

I've only got year 1 drops since Forsaken.. the new year 2 exotics are a freaking fantasy as far as I'm concerned.. seriously.. what is the drop rate now? .00000000000000001% only when the planets are aligned correctly? Flashpoint turn ins would get 1 or 2 exotics before.- even heroic public event chests drop nothing.. what? petty glimmer and a blue? it seems the exotic drop rate has been turned way way down since Y2 started.. and I'll say it again- the new Y2 exotics might as well be a fantasy- as my devoid inventory will prove. the only new exotic i've seen in game so far was the Chromatic Fire warlock chest on another player- so they really do exist?...

3 답변작성자: Rogue-Reaper13 10/4/2018 10:55:27 AMCerberus+1, two tailed fox twice, black talon twice, gwisin vest, heart of inmost light, wavesplitter, ravager's ride, and otherside sparrow a few times, as well as duplicates of old exotics. Total I have had well over twenty drops. The drop rate isn't horrible. Stop skimming straight through strikes and missions and you'll get drops. Almost all my exotics came from the little guys in strikes and open world kills. Nearly every strike I hit people skip all the enemy just to get to the boss and end the play. I'm not surprised people don't get exotics.

1 답변I just had a 370 power Jade Rabbit (a duplicate btw) drop from a 500 light heroic strike. The exotic drops are anything from fine. Doing activities needs to be rewarding and worthwhile, and coupled with how little powerful engrams raise your light, they just aren't.

Been playing quite a bit since Forsaken released and finally on the third week of turning in everything I get one for my Warlock! I was stoked! I agree it’s a little crazy how rare they are but it feels good when you finally get a Forsaken exotic(I’ve already gotten at least 4 y1 exotics),

2 답변Exotics do need to be rare but at this point xur is going to be the main way of obtaining all of them as soon as he starts selling

1 답변작성자: xXtrigunXx689 10/8/2018 8:22:53 PM30+ hours into Forsaken and 0 exotics. Oh RNGesus why have you Forsaken me. Update: Finally got an exotic in destiny, and it was another Graviton Forfeit, and the grind continues. Update 2: I'm pushing 100 hours now still just the one graviton forfeit drop. I've tried everything, grinding gambit, grinding crucible and strikes both with fully stacked fire teams all running boons. I've done public events for hours and have seen one dam engram drop. This is getting absurd!!!!! These things are not rare they don't -blam!-ing exist!

3 답변Drop rates are dog shit. The only exootic I got is ace from the quest line. I have 60+ (maybe 70) hours on forsaken (Hunter 541 and Titan 522) and 0 exotics. No new or even old ones. Crap game with crap progression as well. Why would they release a 500 strike after a raid at 560 which btw it was made for super duper no life streamers complete who also took advantage of prime glitching and data exploitation. 0 chance even for hardcore players. Bungie solves 1 issue and 2 more come ashore. I would fire the team that works on the game progression asap. Its so simple. Soft cap 500. Make strikes 510/520 and drop a guar leg (510/520) a day, next nightfalls 540 with equal drop, release a wing of the raid 2 bosses 550, release the new strike ( 560), release the rest of the raid (580). Bullshit team

1 답변I'm fine with the drop rate, I'm not fine with getting 5+ exotics that I already own, engrams should really lean to exotics you don't have, like 40% exotics you own, 60% exotics you don't own.

11 답변Everyone saying the exotic drops rates are fine now will be saying the total opposite a month from now. After a few weeks and almost everyone only getting like 3 exotics everyone will be changing their tune. Just watch, they will get fed up soon. I think the ones saying it fine now have just gotten lucky and are getting them at a rate they find acceptable.

70 답변Why should it be this way, care to explain? Some people even argue the new infusion system that takes 10 masterwork cores is good too. I’ll never understand why someone would enjoy spending countless hours doing the same tedious and mundane tasks over and over to get an item. Grinding is boring as hell and feels like a chore. I prefer challenging activities to earn things. Not farming the same shit forever to collect a million resources or for a slim chance that something might drop, especially if there is almost no return on investment. Most legendary gear is superior to exotic.

2 답변Well, so I might agree with you...but I dont. I feel that the current rate is fine for Forsaken exotics. But if once you have acquired something, it should drop at the old rate and at the new power levels. At this rate Ill be playing into next year and have nothing new. That is stupid.

5 답변No exotic drops rates are not fine .. Bungie nerfed them to death and also removed them from other game sources like Xur .. Also as others mentioned the duplicate exotic drops which Bungie said was fixed is still broken as all hell. People will not hang around the game if this isn’t fixed... D1 showed this ... while we have lots of content to play the drops are still blue and purple and upgrading requires absolute BS amounts of masterwork cores that just are not able to get in game ...

The drop rates arent the problem its that when a exotic does drop its weighted more towards the y1 exotics over y2 stuff. Unlike y1 which weighted the exotics from newly added to oldest in the engrams. Now its all just bs hey you play 90 hrs to get an exotic skyburners when your friend gets LoW, trinity ghoul, cerberous+1, twintailedfox, and queensbreaker (not including armor). Its bungies algorithem for exotics this season which is causing problems for so many. Exotic is exotic when its rewarding but can you honestly say getting dupes of y1 exotics while your friends in your fireteam getting all new exotics is actually fun for you? What about that trash random on your cruicible game that goes (k/d) 1/35 and gets a trinity ghoul from being worst in whole game? Can you honestly say your ok with that or happy for other people? If so you are a saint or a liar
