Gonna have to agree with this.
In D1 players who didn’t get DLC can still get to Light Level 30. The only real thing they capped was Year One Weapons got locked at 160 during Year Three.
With D2 every single DLC will be locked and the next have more powerful gear.
You are correct.
This is what caused and will cause a massive player base loss.
Folks want to earn their gear and keep it.
At the worst Year 1 Weapons and Gear should be able to be scaled all through Year Two, then capped. Year Two Weapons and Gear should be able to be scaled through Year Three.
At its best Bungie should just let’s us have and wear whatever “Year” Weapons and Gear we want through the entire cycle of that Destiny title.
I mean I thought that was the point of doing things like The Iron Banner. So you can show off your feats. Not earn useless gear that won’t mean jack in 2 months.
Bungie is still up to their old tricks.
They want that new player money while they buy themselves new teeth and condos with our Year One money.

All the year 1 weapons are still infusable all the way up to 600. A lot of them are still amazing weapons even with the new system (people are still using Midnight coup and Inaugural Address in Dreaming City) Lvl 30 was D1 year ones level cap, it just became easier to get there with the new light system. Once they hit 30 they couldn't progress farther then that. You can't level to the max level of an expansion without the expansion.

Uh, in D1 they did the same thing when the taken king dropped. They made old gear redundant because they introduced an entirely new weapon system with new rolls and mods you genius lol. You act as if this is new. And no, someone who hasnt bought the DLC shouldnt get to experience anything outside of the dlc they own. -blam!- them.

작성자: SkinPoppeR 9/11/2018 4:12:41 PMI clearly said that “genius.” That was Year Three ya smartA55! Learn to read before you get all huffy puffy bubs. Also WOW You are a terrible player. Folks like you are the reason some people just bought Forsaken and will be left standing around with their [BLAM] in their hands in 2 months. Bye bye player base 👋👋 Oh but you’ll be back here in the Forums too. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You: “I paid $40 for Forsaken and think players who glitch should get their accounts banned.” Me: “I have given Bungie over $300 for Destiny 1-2 and think I should be allowed to play Destiny 1-4 as long as the servers are open.” You’re gross. You’re a gross player. This conversation Is Over.
