“Powerful” gear not so powerful!!
Doing my daily challenges in both heroic stories and gambit as well, i was only rewarded with power level 500 gear while I am at 514. As someone who works 49+ hours a week and has three kids, I don’t het to play very often or for very long. So for this to happen it feels like a slap in the face and a waste of the little time that I do have, which I decided to give to Forsaken and not nothing else. If there’s anyway this “bug” could be fixed, I would greatly appreciate it. Can’t get raid ready if I can’t progress my power! Thank you.

Happened to me too First we lose out on the Crucible/Gambit rewards this week Bc the reset was bugged on Saturday. Now the challenges I have left didn’t drop powerful gear above my current light. It’s annoying af and bungie needs to address this.

1 답변작성자: Ramirenzo 9/11/2018 6:59:44 PMThe system is hot fu*king garbage, if Forsaken fixed the destiny weapon systems and story, it took two colossal steps back when it comes to character progression. I'm supposed to receive a steady stream of upgrades as long as I complete events that offer powerful rewards but because Bungie has amped the stinginess levels to 11 on the power upgrades, you end up locked at specific levels until you can find the one piece of gear you need to progress. For example, my current power level is 521. That average is derived from a whole bunch of 522-526 gear with a chest piece at 515, all of my "upgrades" are dropping at 522 because the game sees this as above my current power level, but it's actually either the same or lower power than everything but my chest piece. The ONLY way for me to progress and increase my power level so I can earn higher drops is obtaining a chest piece, meaning my character is completely on hold until I'm lucky enough to get that specific drop, and all this on top of multiple bugged weeklies 3 days before the raid launches. World first isn't going to be about skill or effort, it's going to be all about not falling foul of this fu*k-awful system.

3 답변Same happened to me just now so I looked on here to see if this is a thing. I completed Gambit and Crucible power engrams and got 500. My character is 512.

1 답변Yeah the progression system is still stupid. Everything that drops in the tangled shores should be above your lvl if your below 530. Any event that you do above your power lvl should drop gear above your current lvl. This soft cap bullshit is lame.

1 답변heh that has been a problem for a very long time. specially when you go into an activity and it says "reward" Sorry, but an item that is lower power than what I already have isn't a reward it's a insult.

honestly ive only gotten powerful gear from SOME activities mostly from just running around and doing bounties but i find that ive been the most successful when ranking up in gambit however the powerful gear drop was 3 light above what i had at the time

For the idiots trying to say that its not the game just shut the hell up. I just did the "Armor of Flames" or whatever its called bounty and even it only gave me a 500 blue drop. Im a 514 so something is obviously wrong with the game. That quest bounty is a one time thing and specifically says "powerful gear".

작성자: Octopus 9/9/2018 6:34:51 PMI'm pretty sure that it's a bug. It shows everything available after a reset, but possibly with only one activity being the one that gives you the powerful engram. As the last days it was daily story and crucible (if i'm not mistaken), it should be the daily gambit that gives you the powerful engram, with the other activities being shown up, because of a bug. Just my 1st thought, correct me if i'm wrong...or even better, confirm when i'm not.

3 답변All 500 drops today except the oracle offering, which with free space in consumables and postmaster; didn’t drop at all. Think Bungie should be testing this stuff to make sure it works.

2 답변Bump - out the munchkin down and out and ground out the gambit mode. 500 light drop for powerful gear drop. Decided to do the stories after the drop did nothing for my character and got Another 500 drop
