Using XBOX One
So I purchased by preorder the $40 Forsaken Expansion. I did this to see that the expansion would meet my expectations before I decided to commit to the full access pass. After playing, I think that the annual pass could be worth it, so I went to the Xbox Store (also used the phone app and PC xbox store) to purchase it. After some digging (because it's not easy to find anything Destiny that isn't the highest priced items they offer) I finally found the Annual Pass, an entry for it does exist! However, when I tried to purchase it, it told me that it was not available for sale separately. I also tried to purchase in the game from the Destination menu, and I get a Query failed.
What I want to know is if there is something I am doing wrong, or is it that the seasonal events have not year begun, so it's just too early to try and purchase it, or am I just screwed because I didn't buy the bundle?
UPDATE: So I was able to finally get the annual pass as a separate purchase. Download the XBOX app (I have Android) for your phone. Log in to your account and go to the Microsoft store in the app. Search for "Destiny 2 annual pass". There are several results, and TWO annual pass results. For me I selected the lower one a few results down and was able to purchase the pass for $34.99. The first of the annual pass results I was not. Hope this helps.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Bungie did respond to this post and their answer was not correct at all. It may be for some people, but wasn't even close for me. I have multiple child accounts on my XBOX and did not want to go through removing all of that and then removing D2 and then downloading reinstalling 100GB+. Instead, I simply found the correct solution which is that there were two entries for purchase, one of which does not work. This could be an XBOX thing, but if I were Bungie, I would have a conversation with MS/XBOX and get something like that sorted out.

So, one of my friends is having the issue you once had- only problem is, when they go to buy the pass off of the Xbox app they are greeted with a little blurb of text that tells them that it “requires a game (sold separately.)” Edit: While typing this we found out the problem. They owned the game through profile sharing, but wasn’t able to buy the annual pass because they didn’t truly own Forsaken.

작성자: Burke1T 1/27/2019 4:44:41 PMWhat was the fix that bungie was recommending, because no matter where I try to purchase the pass or which one I go to, it fails. I didn't over 2 hrs on Microsoft chat only for them to tell me to purchase the $69.99 Forsaken + Annual Pass still fix my problem. Yet I own the legendary collection already! I've determined it to be an issue with that collection. The game doesn't recognize the PKG having everything you obviously already own. Microsoft was a waste but I'm willing to try additional options to save buying again. To note, I also removed the whole collection, rebooted, and then installed each item from the Xbox Microsoft store so that I could try and convince the thing to see I have everything already. It kept failing on warmind but clicking to install from my phone app fixed that one. Which makes me think that could be part of the problem.

1 답변I've been having some similar to this problem. For me, its saying that it cost 34.99 and I have 36.00 on my account, it won't let me buy the pass. It keeps telling me I don't have enough.

2 답변Hello, I checked both of the annual passes but both said they were sold separately. Do you have any advice on how I could fix this or what I'm doing wrong? Also where did you buy it? On the App?

Just another person who's $34.99 (plus all the $$ for: destiny 1 and 4 dlc's + destiny 2 and 3 dlc's) isn't enough for bungie, our money is only wanted if you shell out the extra 10 bucks for the forsaken plus annual pass bundle. And because of how few people I see on this post, guess what a majority of xbox players did. Honestly I'm not even surprised by another one of bungo's "whoops we 'accidentally' scamed the people who keep this series going after we shit the bed so many times". Just for more confirmation, this isn't some subset of xbox players having an issue. Everyone I've talked to has the same problem. Worst part is, bungo's partnership with sony doubles the problem, because (at least not online or anyehere in my area, could be wrong though) there's not a code card version of the annual pass you can buy in stores. So accident or not? what do you think? After all the shady shit we've seen 4 years down the line, I know what I'm putting money on... what this glitch does, just incase someone cares to fix it: When you click on annual pass ingame, it tries to load a ms store page and then gives the "currently not avalible" message.

2 답변It’s strange I’m looking through the comments seeing how getting through the app gets it to work but for me the two options for the Annual Pass tell me to get it on the Xbox One console itself and don’t give me a option to buy it on the app

1 답변Thank you! Was having the same issue...went to the store found it, bought it, ready to roll.

3 답변작성자: ArcticWolfDM 11/28/2018 3:23:36 AMI've been trying to purchase it, why have the option on the in game screen if it's not working. I'm on the PS4 though and yeah like Gayl3 it's just goes back to the screen when I click purchase. I'm on my account that has forsaken and everything.

I tried to purchase it in game but it just kicks my back to the destination screen whenever I press buy now. I would congrate Bungie on their new policy of free dlc but not being able to download it at all seems a bit extreme.

3 답변I tried both the Microsoft store online and through the xbox pass and neither of them work. I can't buy it through the game either and I purchased a card to buy forsaken. Can anybody help me? I hope I didn't waste any money.

5 답변So after reading everyone's comments and saw the online PC store was where everyone had the greatest success at purchasing the annual pass, I gave it another shot. I suggest you login with the Microsoft Store first then click the link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/destiny-2-forsaken-annual-pass/c2ckz01457cz?lc=1033&activetab=pivot%3Aoverviewtab If the link doesn't work (even though thats where I bought it) I just typed "annual pass" in the search bar. Destiny 2 annual pass options were the first 6 things listed on the search drop down and I clicked the first one.

1 답변I’ve been having this issue since the launch of Forsaken. For Xbox, I was able to purchase the annual pass just now using the SmartGlass app on my phone and going to the Microsoft store there.
-
2 답변I was also able to purchase via the xbox app (iPhone 7), but not through the game or on the xbox itself. Thanks for the info
-
4 답변I'm pretty sure it was only supposed to be 10$ separately or at least I saw it advertised that way so I'm curious why there is a 35$ version..

5 답변Hey there one true Megatron, So you indeed should be able to purchase this after looking over your account to ensure you had the required previous content needed. At this poing I would try resetting your ingame licenses by follwoing the steps bellow. Hey there, So this could be due to a license issue so I would recommend the following. 1. Remove any other accounts on the system. 2. Uninstall any Destiny 2 related content and perform a fresh install after checking for any pending updates. 3. Clear out your cache and see if that fixes things. 4. Ensure the account your purchased Destiny 2 and previous DLC is the same one you are attempting to purchase Forsaken on. If this doesn't fix things I would reach out to Xbox support for further troubleshooting regarding this.
