Microsoft cares about their customers way more than sony does
Yeah I know there aren't a lot of Xbox exclusives. But really the blame is on those devs. I'd trade exclusives for the ability to play my ps2 and PS3 games on my PS4 any day if the week.
Xbox players are lucky in that Microsoft isn't trying to make you rebuy stuff you already own in your game collect. Or am I wrong?

Cant change the psn name, they don't refund you accidental purchases, you can't get a replacement game when your CD breaks (Microsoft does replace, look it up), and ps now is good awful. Worse thing ever made....but try to change my mind anyway.[/quote]

Mircosoft knew about the problem but still produced Xboxes. Windows Vista, Office 2006, and all the crap Mircosoft products they make because; they don't care and have a monopoly.

My MS account has yet to be broken into. Unlike PS accounts info have been stolen. After a 3rd data breach in 2 years, someone made off with my debit info. I had to cancel my card, talk to the bank to get those charges decline. Pay for additional fraud protection. Since then I haven't dealt with PS.

1 답변Sony are f--king up left, right and centre. That I'll at least admit. The only thing they really have going for them are the exclusives. This coming from someone who primarily plays on PS4. Although I think the whole position of Xbox looking out for the players is nothing more then a corporate move just to get people to buy their consoles. I'd argue that it's pretty much going to guarantee them leading the next generation if Sony don't get their act together. I just want to point out though that people seem quick to forget about the whole Xbox One announcement fiasco. Sony did exactly what Microsoft are doing now. Taking one another's f--k ups and turning them around to their advantage. At the end of the day both Microsoft and Sony are major companies out to make money. They'll say whatever makes the opposition looks bad to get people to move over to their platform. More then anything this will probably drive me back to PC.

1 답변Backwards compatibility is great, I use it often. Really want to play MW2 again, but my internet is shit. In all the years I've had Xbox they've always had great customer service. Just last year my Xbox one s stopped working long after warranty. They sent me a shipping label to return it and sent me a brand new one for free. I can't deny that PS4 is killing it in exclusives, I may not enjoy most of them but they definitely have that going for them, very loved titles consistently coming out. Although imo I think xbox does everything besides exclusives better. It's all personal preference, each system has it's good and bad. Still don't know why Sony won't let cross platform happen. I read a couple articles and they basically say that if people want to play with their friends on PS4, they have to buy a PS4. They don't want to risk losing sales.

In all honesty I haven’t used my Xbox for over a year. However, when you say Microsoft I think of Windows. Windows customer service I think “blegh”. As for Sony, yeah, they suck. I had a friend get locked out of all his game saves because his ps+ ran out. What did they do? Nothing. So they’re both not great, Sony is definitely worse from a customer support standpoint, but they have the games, which will keep me coming.

MS is leveraging their previous console dominance (Xbox 360) and their near monopoly in desktop computer (PC) operating systems....and thus you have "backwards compatibility"....like you have with many PC games. MS isn't interested in competing with Sony in the console market right now as they are in breaking down the barriers between console gaming and PC gaming (vertical intergration) Sony is being forced to innovate because its is a home electronics and mass media entertainment company as well as making video game consoles. The days of being able to make money selling people content on bits of plastic are rapidly dying out....so Sony is trying to position itself to be able to survive whatever is the "next thing". Which is probabaly digital distribution....and subscription services rather than physical ownership. Which is why Sony working to try to perfect streaming content to you...and figuring out what price points for those services the market will tolerate. NEVER....NEVER...be lulled into a sense that any corporation **cares** for you as an individual. They don't. People care. Corporations are MONEY-MAKING algorithms...whose only reason for being is to allow people to make money without putting their personal property and other assets at-risk. Corporation== Personal profit - Personal Responsibility.

13 답변Sony are moving forward. Microsoft are moving back. Sony taking in the ex-MW devs to make a kick-ass next level shooter (Firewall: Zero hour) knowing full well not everyone has a PSVR or Aim controller but -blam!- it, it's for the gamers! Meanwhile Microsoft makes MW backwards compatible???

And Sony has been killing it with delivering great new games like Bloodborne, God of War, and Horizon: Zero Dawn. To say that Sony cares less about their customers is silly.

1 답변Microsoft made some mistakes in the past, but now they’re trying like hell to say they’re sorry and show their fanbase some love. I’ve always been a Microsoft guy since Halo came out, but even I can admit they goofed with the Xbox One development and the launch. I think they learned a their lesson and now they always come out swinging like they did at E3.

I use both and Xbox definitely has better infrastructure. PSN is very inconsistent with it randomly being extremely slow and some features being unavailable for no reason. I'll check my Internet and Sony's services and both are reported as working fine but I still have issues with PSN

5 답변If you want the best of everything, you get a pc with a good gaming setup. If you want it easy to use and less space consuming get a gaming laptop. If you want to complain about both of your best options, even though they’re superior in every way, with no noticeable downsides to most do one of the following. Get a switch for exclusives if you don’t care about looks, or better pricing, or better storage, but only for exclusives that are still inferior to the pc options. Get a Xbox one x to have the best of the inferior gear, that way you can say you have great gear, and possibly fool yourself into believing it. Get a Xbox one s, if you don’t care about fancy graphics enough to get a x or a pc, but want the best online network for gaming. Get a PS4 if all your friends have it, or if you want to pretend you care about superior exclusives, while ignoring that switch and pc are leagues ahead in offerings... Sony fanboys at the start of the generation: power matters most, even more then the Xbox’s superior games X fanboys: what about now? Sony fanboys: exclusives matter most! (Pc players laugh at them both in the background)

1 답변I had a red ring of death startup situation with my One a couple of months ago and after waiting and putting off calling Customer Service I gave up. This was my first time and I’ve called a couple more times over GameStop being GameStop on some of my pre-orders, but that’s another story. The dude was super friendly, name was Greg I believe? He had checked my account to verify it was my Xbox or something after I gave him the serial number, and he would bring up some of the games I had and how much he loved them too or ones he hadn’t played yet. He did this the entire time he had helped me hard reset my console. I had to reinstall all my games, but at least it was working again. Best part was him bringing up some of my Comms bans and totally calling out how soft One players are compared to the 360 days, we both got a good laugh. 2 hours on the phone with me, thanked him immensely and wrote him a great review the moment I got off the phone.

I mean for me it’s mostly exclusives. Thebackwards compatibility is sweet but a bonus. That said PS4 has 1.5 exclusives that seem interesting. God of war and bloodborne amdbloodborne turned out to be a tweak darkapuls with less replay ability
