Running a secondary ammo weapon in the energy slot neuters the drop rate of heavy ammo. Telesto is awesome there, yes, but you'll get much much MUCH less heavy ammo as a result. It rains purple bricks when you run a primary in the energy slot, because green ammo never drops, it's all white and purple.
