Opinions about every feature in this game are going to, more than likely, follow a bell curve with opinions ranging from hate to love and the largest majority in between. All bungie can do is identify where that majority lies in the spectrum and listen to their feedback and attempt to shift it towards a positive direction.
Many people blame streamers for changes but tell me that the audience of a streamer doesn’t generally share similar opinions to them. The opinions of their audience will also follow a bell curve that typically would shift towards agreement with them because why are you religiously watching a streamer who has very opposing viewpoints to yours and is playing content you don’t enjoy to watch or play unless you are simply there to troll. So when a streamer/youtuber speaks out, they are usually speaking for a majority of their audience as well.
Closing point is that every time a change is made the bell curve shifts. Some people will like the changes, some will not. Give your feedback, but be genuine and educated about what you say because otherwise you’ll sound like you’re crying and immature. Remind yourself that for everything you don’t like there is someone who does like it. Offer your opinions on what you don’t like and reasons why instead of complaining about it and cursing anyone who disagrees with you.
Could I be completely wrong? Yea. But in my opinion and my understanding of human behavior, this is generally how shit works. But that’s my opinion and mine alone and it is not fact. If you have any opinions about the recent changes you’d like to share and start a conversation about then post below and attempt to have a healthy discussion
Edit: I’d like to thank everyone who has commented/upvoted this post. Whether your comment was in agreement or disagreement, remember that you all have something valuable to add that can help make this game better. Just remember that if you sound ignorant and salty then the value of your input will be diminished. Keep the discussion flowing, give supporting evidence/reasons to the claims you make.

1 답변작성자: Stryker Shaka 9/1/2018 2:14:22 PMI just wish when Bungie did Destiny Summits and Guardian Cons and things like that, that they’d also invite dedicated players who don’t stream. I resent streamers but I mostly just think Bungie needs to make sure they include the everyday player in their decision making process. Currently they don’t seem to do that. I’d love it if they sent out feedback forms to players who played certain activities or hit certain milestones in the game. Ok I’m gonna breathe now lol

4 답변It doesn't matter what anyone says on this forum as long as it's within reason. When it comes to communication with one another on this forum it all depends on how one presents themselves that will determine the outcome of any conversation.

3 답변I think the main problem is that the people who scream the loudest always think they’re the majority.

11 답변작성자: More Power 8/31/2018 3:42:27 PMI’m gonna let you in on a little secret... Some people like the crucible, and some people don’t like sheep being thrown to the wolves, or stacked teams pitted against solo players. Some people like strikes, and they want light level to matter so strikes aren't always a sweat fest that are often not doable if you can't carry the other two. Some people like to raid, but many can't because too many established raid teams won't teach the overly complicated 6-man mechanics. Some people like EP, but find it exceedingly difficult to get 9 people together. Some people like trials, but the rest don't like the cheaters, the fun police, and no SBMM (being thrown to the wolves). Some people like milestones.... Yeah sure. Some people like patrolling. Really? That got old in D1Y1. Streamers.... The only way to make sense of many of the game design decisions is to look at them from the streamer point of view. Then it all makes perfect sense... If, from Bungie's perspective, the point of their business model is to sell games, they must know that most people who watch/follow streamers have already bought the game. Making the game as accessible as all of the end-game activities were in D1Y1 will sell far more games - far more.

1 답변Personally I think the whole "not everyone should be able to do X" in a game is toxic and was started by streamers and as you pointed out is then adopted by their followers as acceptable.

작성자: IRaidWithAussies 8/31/2018 11:41:19 AMI stopped reading when you said a streamer's audience doesn't think like them. We need a long refresher in what sheep are, and how that word pertains to psychology 101. Since you probably don't deal in too much customer service, I'll make it quick and short. A complaint is just as valid as a criticism. And it's just as heavy as one. People not only have the right to complain, it's encouraged. If you don't like it, don't open their post. You aren't the one working for Bungie, unless you are. Which I wouldn't be surprised by, as they've already been caught making their employees post for them

8 답변Some people know what you mean by bell curve, some people don't. 😂 You would think that people would just know what you are talking about. But, this is the 21st century, where common sense was eradicated around the turn of the millennium. Those who had it, or even a little of it were able to hold on to it. The rest? Well...

작성자: Miofwin 8/31/2018 6:46:05 AMPvP players are better than PvE players. If you're good at PvP then you'll be good at other aspects of the game, but if you're good at raids that doesn't mean you're good at Crucible. I've seen loads of good PvP players with Midnight Coup, but I've never seen a good PvE player with any Trials weapons.
