I've been playing destiny since the first actual beta for the first one, and I've carried my exo hunter through the whole of everything. My buddy gave me his spare code and I enjoyed it so I preordered the first one then the second one. An alternate cut scene at the beginning of the game was nice and was a nice nod, but honestly I feel under appreciated. I don't want like better guns or anything but I just wish we got some more recognition. Just wanted to know what other people think about it aswell?
Edit:
honestly didn’t expect this post to get anywhere. Wow thank you all for your replies!
Started during dark below on 360. Then changed to ps4 for taken king. I didn't play for awhile then came back. D2 and coo killed it for me but I got back into it and I'm enjoying the changes after warmind. Forsaken is going to be awesome imo.

I'm a taken-tot (technically, I played during the last 2 weeks of house of wolves, but still by the time I hit the endgame it was taken king, and my first raid was Kings Fall). The subtle changes to D2 that acknowledged your D1 investment we're really nice, but it felt like a betrayal when Saladin didn't call us young wolf, or referred to us as an iron lord. I honestly took about 6 months off, because I hated curse of Osiris, but have come back about a month ago, and am enjoying the current state of the game.

Yep, though I was staying over at a friend’s house at the time of the beta and was only able to play on his console, so I never got the beta emblem. Missed the D2 beta on the platform I actually play on (Xbox), but got to play on PC. Those moments with that friend on the beta hooked me, and have been here ever since.

작성자: TotalDramaGamer 8/18/2018 5:08:24 AMYeah, same here. I think the only time I've really taken a break from Destiny was the few months of CoO around when the Dawning happened in D2. Didn't get the clan up to level, didn't get much if any of the cosmetics, and played the raid a few times (tbh, Argos IS the best raid right now, so at least it had that. Just not so good or nearly rewarding enough with cool stuff to do over and over. And I was salty at Bungie over the DLC, so... yeah...) Other than that, I never really stepped away. Which, I dunno why, but I LOVED chilling in patrol areas for hours on end. It was just so surreal and the environment/music was always exciting, but soothing, to just walk around in. Sadly, D2 doesn't do this at all. Well, IO kinda does it. I will say IO is definitly my favorite atmosphere and environmental wise (music to scene). Earth is my favorite to do patrol objectives in (PE completions and patrols), but not the most fun to explore or just chill in. Mars is my third favorite, and the music IS nice, but it's not ominous. It constantly has a hint of 'go do EP' everywhere you go which kinda kills it a bit. (However, I will say the hunt for the treasures was one of the BEST additions to D2 in the whole last year. Do this more, please.) But yeah, everywhere else is either too small, the music not really 'explorative' in any regard, or I simply don't like it very much (Nessus). In fact, I went back to D1 about 4 weeks ago to obtain several more Dead Ghosts I hadn't gotten (PS exclusives up until D2) and even the 30 seconds of 'patrol music' you find on the crucible Earth Maps like Sector 348 (or something) gave me chills, it just 'feels' so mysterious and calm (which denotes the terror that hides around you). I dunno. Anyone else get what I'm saying?
